As I've been discovering the lesser-known fringes of TH-cam, I've seen an increasing number of poems being left in the comments. This one is so beautiful and perfectly describes how I'm feeling at the current moment, so thank you.
I remember the first time I listened to this. I was very young, politics wasn't like what it was today. It was a very simpler time for me. I come back and remember how much i thought I was creepy for enjoying this piece on repeat especially when I needed peace at that time. I come back now and think of myself when I was a child, not of the song anymore. It really does feel like I am remembering a vibrant tree.
I remember when my best friend killed me, and we went to limbo, where it was always twilight, always snowing. You find an old record player your father kept, and played the last disc that wasn't broken and this song plays. You can hear distant bombings, and faded screaming, you know it's coming for you, but all you want to do is just listen to this song and die along side your neighbour's. You lay down in a pile of rubble, you feel the dirt and dust brushing against your face, the clouds thicken around you as it gets harder to breathe. Its your subconscious just using the image of the house in that picture to illustrate the one from your day dreams because this video brings forth mystery and a certain feeling that only dreams can. The feelings in your brain are linked, so there for is the thought of that house. Put together the fact that both the picture and your dream involve a house, and bam.
