If you watched the movie, you'll see a pattern in the order of the characters are shown after Maula and Mukhoo. You'll notice Bilal gives a hint to the story line that happens. I had a thought in mind while mixing this piece. This song had so many layers to it and the positioning of each vocal was done along with the blend of reality, and then taken to suspended belief and back to reality. Its a tribute to a cycle of events that can happen in one's life as well. It creates space for the next voice to come in uninterrupted. If you watched this in the theater, the mix starts from the center channel and as the song finishes, it turns into all the space in the theater until it finally rests back in the center channel with Noori's eyes closing. Again a reference to a circle of life. The entire soundscape of the film has so many of these meta things blended into it. This song also represents how the entire film's soundscape unfolds.

@@tubean4 When mixing, it starts off as being realistic where we were with the characters in their space. Once the long shot of the Giant Wheel comes, vocals changes in the space. The position of the vocal of Mukho and Maula are in the way they are seated from an audience perspective. So Maula on the leftish side and Mukho on the rightish. When you see Mooda, his is realistic, but by then Maula and Mukho are already in a different realm. This pattern continues with each character, until it leaves on the face of Noori.

The song starts beautifully with love story of Fawad and Mahira and then grows dark with Faris and darker with Gohar Rasheed's portrait (If you know, you know) and then the chorus. Showing that the devil that is Noori Natt is now free and ready to haunt the world. Unreal Magic, Unreal Storytelling. Unbelievable writing. No words yet speaks so much.
Whoever watched this is in the cinema can’t deny the fact that this part was so powerful and gave literal goosebumps !!!

This song at that moment in the movie sent shivers down my spine! Bilal Lashari, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan Hamza Abbasi, Humaima Malic and the entire staff/cast did an amazing job on TLOMJ. This simple song epitomizes it! I saw people in the cinema with tears in their eyes when this song came on. Bravo!! And later I found out that Fawad and Mahira sang it themselves!

This movie is a masterpiece in its own right. They are saying it will bring a revolution in the Pakistani cinema but I doubt it will happen. This is one of those once in a lifetime movies that will stay evergreen in our minds and our next generations will enjoy it too but we won’t be seeing a movie of this calibre in a while.

Apart from beautiful cinematography, visual effects, sound design, story, and direction the strength of Maula Jutt I believe was its characters and their motivations. Everyone had reasons for doing what they were doing which is a rarity in south Asian cinema. This song perfectly encompassed that feeling. Bilal lashari is truly a mastermind.
