Another top video Adam, even if the finds were a little bit lacking. I do like the idea of the CeX pick ups, would love to hear a bit more about why the game you're picking up specifically is on your list, or any memories of it if you'd played it before. The personal touch with your videos is always the standout! Potentially worth scanning some prices of BluRays, too. Becoming more common in Charity Shops and may have a 3/4 Euro flip in them depending on sale price.
Cheers yeah it’s been a bit lacking in general lately. That’s why I want each one to have at least something at the end of the video. And sure it’ll be a welcome bonus then when I find a load of stuff I want to keep too! That’s a good shout I’ll definitely add that element in if I pick one out that has a good reason behind it!

That’s class mate glad to hear it! Adverts has gone to the dogs I’m sorry to say. Everyone thinks they can get €20 for a game that sells for a tenner in an actual shop. Haven’t even had a browse in a long time same with Facebook marketplace just no deals any more unfortunately!

Bought a rockband drumkit in swords a couple of weeks ago there. My wife saw it and instantly wanted it, so that was my budget gone 😅
Yeah hopefully makes it easier to get one out every 2 weeks. Nothing more demoralising than burning every day off hunting and finding nothing for a video at least this way will have a regular one guaranteed! Ah sure has to be done haha! Paid a visit to the cex there last week shelves still filling out but they had the biggest collection of GameCube I’ve seen from any cex over the years!

Interesting idea for new series! Of course, when you explore and see a lot of flea markets, you will notice that you have bought duplicates. And it is good idea to trade duplicates for something else.
Definitely have grabbed lots of duplicates! Hopefully someone of them are worth some good money and can turn into other games!

I just dont have the enthusiasm/time/energy to be running round the charity shops buying just to flip - if we are in the town the Mrs drags me round a couple but, its been years since finding any bargains.
I tend to buy more from select retro stores, yes i pay a bit more (usually get a deal tho) but, i only have so many hours in a week...and need my beauty sleeps!

Cheers Rodgy! To be honest if i didn’t change it up I’d be going that way too. Finds have been few and far between lately at least this way I can still have a sniff around and grab my few bits at the end of it either way! And never know when the luck might just be in and walk into the right one at the right time!

I just noticed you have the Zelda Ocarina of Time Gold carts on your wish list. Both boxed and unboxed showing in stock but just as a heads up the unboxed one in Navan is mispriced and is actually the standard copy, and the boxed one in Newbridge was nowhere to be seen in the cabinet!
Cheers for the heads up! I’ve learned my lesson buying from cex over the years try to do my business in person when I can. Doubling the post cost nailed it for me too!

nice video adam, fun to see whats next on ur list. . . i always look for board games aswell in charity shops especially ones cex uk give good vouchers for, enniskillen is only an hour away from me, might be worth ur time?
Bit of a spin for me now but could probably get to the one in Newry in an hour 20. Always up for a little road trip though if it’s a nice spot to visit in general! If only the ones here took a wider range would be picking all sorts up in the videos 😂

I normally do and have found some class blurays and box sets in the past. Anything I’ve seen lately has just been priced too high to make it worth getting. I normally check them off camera people gave out to me because I wasn’t spending enough time looking at games 😂

I don't know, but taking from charity shops (where games are mispriced due to staff not know full values) and then selling to corporates like CEX, seems morally wrong to me. Plus those who can't afford CEX prices are now missing out.
Lol often charity shop prices are more ridiculous than CEX prices! They also list their rarest games on eBay now! So many do know the rough value of the games! And nobody is buying Nintendogs on DS for £1 to give to their daughter. Its old now, we have moved on to switch. So better a collector help increase his game collection and give charity shop SOME money than it sit on the shelf forever waiting for some random person who still plays DS... retro games in general are expensive now, collectors need to do what they can in these 'cost of living' times. As long as it hurts no party, 'morally wrong' is not what this is.
