Idea: Why not use a small shade net or low umbrella to cover the weigh station and the cradle? So it doesn't get so hot. I did the last time and it works a treat.

Have fished almost exclusively for carp for over 30 years now. Who knows we could bump into each other on the bak one day. Russ

Yes, we have had some magic fish there too.
And is at roodekoppies Dam cuz it is a mud bath Dam
No mud in the areas we fish. The whole lake is actually and moster gravel pit.
Was it hard catching carp because now it is winter
No, the fishing is fantastic all year round.
