I believe the jury is still out on Ridder but I also believe that Arther Smith is slow rolling how he is introducing his offense scheme. I don’t know if that is possible or makes sense but seems like every week a new part of the offense is executed which allows a new fold to be introduced. A quarter way through and now everyone on the offense understands their roll and how it works together vs dropping the entire offense at once in the beginning of the season and everyone trying to understand their identity. I maybe completely off and wrong but either way I absolutely love this team this year. Smith is my favorite coach the Falcons have had for sometime and the D is a big compliment to the offense and vice versa. Excited to see how this plays out.
Arthur Smith is a boss. People need to give him and Ridder more time to grow. To put in perspective, Aikman sucked for 3 whole years before he turned the corner. Took Josh Allen 3 years. Brett Favre threw 37 interceptions his first 2 years starting. People are just too quick to give up on guys.
People want to go after Arthur Smith for not getting Pitts and London more fantasy points, but he's a damn good offensive coach. QB play has always been the problem for their fantasy relevance, so it's no surprise that the one game Ridder plays well, Pitts and London have respectable fantasy performances.
Another thing to point out with play calling is Pitts has been running crossers the past few weeks and with that same inside stem Art Smith has him running deep out routes going against the grain of what’s been on film the past few weeks from Pitts. Art Smith is just getting started I see the week to week adjustments
@@christianchaney2354 Gotta look at the whole picture my boy. Stats tell the whole story, and Bijan had an awful game. Stats: 14 carries, 46 yards, ZERO rushing touchdowns, a lost fumble, all while averaging a pathetic 3.3 yards per carry. One Shovel pass touchdown does not erase this pathetic performance.
Obviously Ridder is understanding were to go with the ball based on what he's seeing from the defense. He's not hesitating, he's letting the ball rip. Now against the Washington Commanders - he needs to show consistentcy.
I’m ready to see much more of Colt as an analyst, I think he’ll get his shot at coaching next year tbh. He seems like he can at least be a QB Coach if not eventually an OC.
Ridder was a 3rd to 5th rounder but throwing to 1st rounder players. Usually it’s the other way around.. overall I think Ridder needed another year to learn. He may have anxiety because he can difficult plays work but blows simple plays
He gone soon earn the nickname The Magic Ridler and y’all gone think he got a magnet in the ball but ya gotta be patient and go through the ugly process also
Ridder still has the worst PFF rating of any QB in the league on the year. But this was exciting for sure- @ Tampa will be the game I look at to decide if he the guy.
Jags and lions bullied the OL he had no chance in hell to get anything off 2 weeks straight. He was decent not amazing first 2 weeks and clearly went off against HOU when the OL did not get bullied. And unlike Matt Ryan era falcons, the defense does defense things.
Guys did yall forget who was throwing pitts the ball last year , Marcus Mariota an awful passer , so thats pitts fault for having a bad year and getting hurt 10 games in the season, pitts was an pro bowlers with matt ryan passing him the ball in his rookie season !
It kinda appalling how many NFL media guys and former players locally and nationally keep banging on Pitts like HE’S the problem. He can’t be QB and TE and yet people keep blaming him for things that have nothing to do with him.
They've put up 20+ points in all three of their wins... Did you mean to say 30? (Because I agreed, they should be putting up more points with all of these weapons)

I was thinking the same thing lol😂
Ridder also tackled a fumble recovery and possibly stopped a TD.
he makes me want to pull out my hair sometimes, but he's got that dawg for sure
Not only was Ridder awesome, but he did it against a defence that has embarrassed QBs this year
So what your saying is that Drake London might have start value in the coming weeks?

Colt McCoy is like a 13 year veteran that has played in about every system, so he definitely knows

It looks like Ridder is better hitting passes in that 20-40 yard range area where his wind up arm motion can really fling it out there

My thoughts exactly. I am actually benching Aiyuk in favor of ridder this week. had i not watched this, i would never of even considered it.

The best teams know the goal line is north south and not east west. Pitts should be running long distance every single game.
Colt, Congrats on your new career
That pass to Keith Smith FB was the best throw of the game easy! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Starting Ridder in my superflex since Watson is out 😬
Good job.
Defenders are speed bumps to receivers... 6'6' full sprint vs. any db.... not many days or fields.
I positively love every video this channel puts out but I cannot support Colt having to turn to face the camera 😂😂 it just looks silly
Do I start London, James cook or Nico. Ppr

Nico ez. James Cook is in a pass heavy offense and London in a run heavy offense.
