Impossible,it's just physically and emotionally impossible for anyone to pull a Buckley. This video is another proof that Jeff has the best vocals in the music history.
My god. This man was so full of purity and beauty that it pours from his voice and seeps from his pores. His control, his power, and his pitch were so on point its breathtaking and unbelievable. My favorite vocalist of all time, hands down. RIP Jeff, you will never be forgotten.
I don't always feel the need to see the singer sing, but with Jeff it's almost a must. He puts his entire body and soul into it, and so so so much emotion. Jeff, such a legend. He lost his life, but his legacy will live on forever ❤️
I always used to think that Chris Cornell could belt it out better than anyone, until I discovered this guy about 5 months ago. Where have I been my whole life?
ericlord821 You got a point. I figured out about him not too long. He fits in with some of the greats like Cornell, Dio, Plant, Patton, Peter Steele, Layne, etc.
Gabriel Pinargote, Jeff stands above them all. When you stay up late doing random shit and are about to go to bed thinking what a waste of time this night has been... Then you stumble on a video that has a comment that catches your eye and in that comment a reply links to a video that brings you here... and back decades in time, and to witness the performance of a song that affected your life in such a meaningful way that now I'm writing this, standing in my pitch black dining room, while everyone is sleeping, again stuck in awe from the angel that is Jeff. Thank God for you, dream brother. Thank God. 🙏🏼
I watch this video maybe 5 or 6 times a year when I'm feeling uninspired or like I'm maybe not being open enough in my creativity. It's still one of the best clips I've ever seen and I'm almost overwhelmed by Jeff's freedom of expression in this clip. Can't say enough positive things about it.
I’m blown away by this recording capturing a true artist baring his soul. He’s so natural and not forcing or mimicking anyone else. Absolutely 1 of a kind. Covid watching in Hawaii 10/3/20 😷🤙🏼
Here we go. This shit lights me on fire. Whoever filmed that knew how to capture that crazy ass, opera level performance of a dude catching the fucking spirit in the moment. Love you Jeff, don't miss you because you'd have only gone on to make fucking jingles. But damn if you're beauty was captured perfectly in a tight 3 minutes. Also fucking love for the apparent distain of the microphone at the end.
I am just speechless. I really am. So devastatingly beatiful. Please tell me that there is a full version of this "magniformance". Even if there isn't one... Please tell, where can I find it?
There isn't, sadly. This snippet of a studio recording was used in a posthumous documentary called "Jeff Buckley: Grace Around the World." But if I'm speaking frankly, most of his performances of this song (and every song he ever performed) are just as breathtaking.
This is simply one of the best pieces of film to ever exist... 🤘♥️🤘
This is still the greatest thing I've ever seen. Jeff Buckley will always be the greatest male vocalist ever. I don't care what anyone says.
pinkldy101 i agree
Prince?
Freddie Mercury
@@HardLordd Jeff knew how to rock
I agree he is incredible❤
To have lived when this man walked the planet is a gift.
Impossible,it's just physically and emotionally impossible for anyone to pull a Buckley. This video is another proof that Jeff has the best vocals in the music history.
It’s possible. It’s a combination of having musical singing parents and a gritty work ethic.

Best thing I ever heard is any vocal from Jeff Buckley in any song or universe❤

And then you discover Myles Kennedy
@@vmb371 HAHAHAHAH!!! YOU SHOULD BE A FUCKIN COMEDIAN, CUZ UR FUNNY!

This footage is almost 30 years old... 1993 was 26 years ago. Jesus christ.
Thats insane. Cant believe its been that long.
Ugh so painful how fast time is flying.. 😢
🥲😅
@@teardownthesun Wow. 28 years old. Where has the time gone?
30 now
I don’t respect anyone who doesn’t respect this. This is incredible.
Just.. too much talent man...
When your 15 yr old has the full Jeff Buckley discography and then some on her playlists..
You ARE mom of the year..
And then some!
i agree! pls keep spreading Jeff's Music to the next generation!!
That long note towards the end defies humanity.
One very odd person in this world who went out of their way to dislike this. Unimaginable...
There’s always one asshole!
I think I must come back and watch this video at least 10 times a year and have done for about 7 years. Endless inspiration in this clip.

Holy shit, JB was mind blowing
Yes, Justin Bieber is mind blowing
WOW....BEAUTIFUL...GRACEFUL....
GOREGEOUS...POWERFUL...and this is an understatment.
REST IN PEACE JEFF...WE MISS YOU!!!
That fucking note...
That was a long E5 with a quick G5 at the end
After nearly a quarter of a century, I still have no words that are adequate.
blows my mind everytime i watch this
To the ones who come back to this video....U know your shit 😉🔥
One of the best vocals I have ever heard! Simply amazing!
this is where it's at. right there. this are the three min when he was given wings and became an angel forever! An Icarus! May he rest in peace.
Here we go.

Greatest ever, no doubt.
Wow. The pain love and pure jeff is pouring out to inspire and heal all the same. Thanks
Te encontre en el momento justo Jeff... sos y seras mi artista favorito... hermoso arte
X2
awesome, just can't believe it only has 22,000 views....
This is gold..i wish there was a video for his cover on "when i am laid in earth"..
Grandiose, Époustouflant. Que paix ait son âme !
He was so amazing...thankfully music will live on.
Made me cry, wow so powerful. This is the best thing ever
Omg . Im lost for words , what a voice , i m litteraly blown away
This is insane - my god this is amazing!!!!!!!
Ow Jeff... its 2018...and still I find myself shedding a tear
Thanks for reuploading :D
I must have watched this video a hundred times, but it still amazes me! He had such control over his voice!
one amazing take without mistakes. that's how you make music
he made his voice perfect
raw soul.

pinklady101, The documentary is actually called, ‘Amazing Grace.’ It is included in the Grace Around the World CD/DVD package, though.
this is just amazing
La cagó, que tremenda voz
This is perfect
ya ya, ya ya, ya ya, yaaa
OH. MY. GAWD.... Unreal.
omg this is pure magic
I really want to see the full performance
this is the best thing I've seen in my whole life
I'm surprised at how quiet his voice seems to be from this video. In the studio track he sounds like he is operatically belting
The Sound of Love and Death
This is Grace!
Y pensar tan solo que maluma existe
At 2:42 he threw out a G#5 right?
Yep
I don't really know what to do with that, speechless
beloved
Urrggghhhh too good
This is the first time I've seen Jeff sing without his guitar
the fact he was born in 66 is crazy
he was so fuckin amaze balls
Amazing!!!!!
Unreal
frisson frisson qu'en tu nous tiens
2:53 He basically summoned Geddy Lee lol
please don't take down....
I realized if you practiced to sing this song enough you can almost learn to breath in as you sing just like he does, it's pretty cool lol
it's like just before 1:54 he's saying to him self "you know what fuck this! im gonna fuck some shit up" then after 1:54 he just lets loose
Is there anyway to get the full performance?
No.
at 2:35, all i can say is My.... Fucking....God!
Every 12 months
@hannah4440 he didnt have any apples either.
excuse me inre, but do you still have the video?
Totally auto tuned :P
you're joking right?
Yes...
GOTTEM!!!!!!!!!
yeah cuz auto tune was in use in 1994. :) i know it's sarcasm.
For the final song yes but I think this video is just one take.
Wooooooooooo. One take???? Bieber would be comped from 10 and then rolled through the melodyne mill to get within a mile of this
the F***.....
wtf
