Darklinger AEld-ridge I do yes... sometimes I think it would be nice to start over and stick with just one scale! It would certainly make collecting terrain easier! Thanks for watching Stig
Lovely looking army. I've been thinking about starting 28mm Romans & Britons but I'm leaning more towards 10/6mm. I'd like lots of chariots which in 28mm is going to be pricey and take up a lot of space. This vid shows just how good the small scale ancients can look. Great stuff.
+Stig ofthe Dump - I'm actually just looking at Baccus' 6mm deal. Polemos SPQR rules, EIR army, Briton army, bases and a Celtic village for £95. Very tempting but I've never done 6mm.
+Lee Hughes I think ringo did some videos on the baccus 6mm Romans. They look nice, and would paint up pretty quickly. Also have a look at imperator vespasians channel, he uses 6mm for hail Caesar.
+Stig ofthe Dump - that 6mm stuff looks pretty good on the videos but I'm going to Salute so I think I'll visit Baccus there and see their range in the flesh.
Looking back now would you still recommend 10mm over all the other scales when starting ancients? Also what ruleset do you enjoy got ancients? Thanks for making fantastic content!
I would. Infact if I was starting over there's a good chance I'd go with 10mm for most things. We pretty much exclusively play To the Strongest, by Simon Miller.
Another fantastic looking army, you keep displaying all these different armies, excellent watch.
Very nice little army. The mass effect is wonderful; 10mm is great for that, as you know. Well done video, Steve. Looking forward to more.
Cheers, Kurtus.
Killer work m8 , you must have a whole room to store all these lovely armys of yours. thanks for showing.
Cheers, I've got a small room rammed full of stuff! As I'm sure we all have in one way or another !
Marvellous effect en masse...... and wow, you have a lot of armies, in a lot of scales!

Thanks, the 10mm stuff is pretty cool. Your right a Celtic army in 28mm would cost a small fortune!

Another army out I see. The massed infantry with bright shields gives it a very lively look. So what do you usually play with this army?
Cheers,
T.
For rules I use To the Strongest, Hail Caesar and Impetus. Their opponents are the Early Imperial Romans.
