    Thanks, Alex, I grew up in the area. Came down in 1961 to North Port when my granddad retired. Went to school in Englewood&Venice because North Port didn't have one. I remember when there was only a dirt road from Englewood beach to Manasota beach. TY for the memories. There were at least a 100-yard from the water to the road back then& cheap motels& houses all along Englewood beach lol. I did a lot of drywall on the newer structures along the coast from Boca Grande to the Siesta Keys.

      Great place to watch a sheller: SWF Beach on the u-tube. Her finds are fantastic and you'll learn ALOT quick! Only if u want. 👍

    Dont get to see shark teeth but 1 other time the sharks eye was beautiful. Love the sunset and hearing the water is just so relaxing. Thank you

    Nice shells you got a Atlantic heart cockle, paper fig or a pear whelk really nice find there! A scallop and a shark eye moonsnail 🙂

    If you slow down you might find more teeth. You need to research the topics you talk about (red tide) before you start talking about them. Red tide is a naturally occurring algae and not caused by big sugar. You also need a sifter. The round shell you found is called a Sharkeye or Moon shell. Good luck in the future.
