These guys need their own category because he is unfortunately a under-developed male but definitely NOT A WOMAN! He has XY Chromosomes = male. Testes(undescended) = male. He likely has a prostate = male. DSD is a unfortunate condition but he is still a male.
There's no question in my mind, that Track and Field governing body, is going to have to make, some kind of rule change, after the performance of Christine Mboma, in the finals of the 200 meters at the Olympics. The only way, they can prevent an onslaught of high testosterone women from completely dominating the sport of Track and Field in the future, is to make some kind of rule change as soon as possible! Actually, in some ways, it was probably better for Christine Mboma, to demonstrate to the Track and Field community, what having high testosterone levels in a women's body can do, when it comes to sprinting against women with natural testosterone levels. I almost think, Christine Mboma, was used (NOT INTENTIONALLY) as a Guinea pig, to see, what would happen if a high testosterone woman is allowed to run the 200 meters at the Olympics, or at next years World Championships. I'm sure, after Track and Field governing body ruled against Christine Mboma, and others from competing in the 400 meters at this years Olympics, the last thing they thought, (with short notice) that she was going to drop down to the 200 meters, and run these (off the chart times) for an 18 year old girl. So now, I feel, it's time for Track and Field governing body, after witnessing first hand, (especally at a venue, like the Olympics) the advantages of people like Christine Mboma has, in the (grand scheme of things)! I think it's time for Track and Field governing body, to anounce a new Track and Field event that can pit all high testosterone women, running against each other, in the same race. Maybe name it something like: (The Specail women's 200 meters) or (The Elite women's 200 meters) or (The Women's 200 meters Plus) etc. I guarentee, if Track and Field governing body came up, with a solution, that will allow all athletes an opportunity to compete in the Olympics, or World Championships, and create a level playing field for everyone concerned, everybody would be happy!
I'm totally against all this stuff. Where will it end? I'm not sure, how for example the testosterone-level of many top-level female basketballers is, especially those who are 1,90 plus with 90 kilos and more weight (and maybe "for heaven's sake" married to another woman too). Will in future all these tall, muscled WNBA-stars be banned, because it's not normal for women to be that tall and that muscular? And isn't it obvious that this "problem" in athletics always only is with African girls? Is it their fault? Definitively no. So leave them alone as long as they are women, which they undoubtedly are. To me, this smacks of racism against real Africans in particular. And I am white.
These guys need their own category because he is unfortunately a under-developed male but definitely NOT A WOMAN! He has XY Chromosomes = male. Testes(undescended) = male. He likely has a prostate = male. DSD is a unfortunate condition but he is still a male.
I have to comment on this as its the second time I'm witnessing it now. I think this commentator is deliberately mispronouncing Mboma's name. She has such great difficulty pronouncing a 5 letter name yet pronounces 10 letter Eastern European names with ease. Maybe her way of "voicing her disapproval" of the athlete's participation (especially since her co-commentator has pronounced it correctly on more than one occasion) but she should strive to be more professional.
I think she might just be dyslexic. She says 'Senya' instead of Seyni, 'Cider' intsead of Lemi, 'Kramer' instead of Krameer, 'Nisinyaba' instead of Niyonsaba.
OMG.... I am loving mboma....her type is not common in athletics. She is always smiling after her race. I am afraid what would come ahead of her regarding the DSD issue. She must not be banned, her talent must not be wasted....but rather create the DSD athletics event. @@loiusnyez5009 What the hell 🙄🙄. The last time I checked, I didn't tag you in my comment. Yes! I know she has XY chromosome but it is for IAAF to decide if she stays or not. She is just 18, consider her feelings too...Why calling an innocent girl a man? Spread love and stop jumping from one comment to the other. My question is how come there’s so many girls with untreated congenital adrenal hyperplasia coming out of Africa? Is it economics? Poor health systems? Don’t they get any of the serious side effects like minerlaocorticoid crisis? Interesting? I do think the ultimate solution is to have a 3rd gender category for such sports
@@davepadmore2982 the answer lies in the fact that scouting these dsd athletes out in countries that historically have had issues with birth certificates is very lucrative. It's a shortcut to success and funding for your program.
...Christine Mboma is a beautiful naturally gifted athlete. It's going to be great to see her compete again in world competitions... It looks she is already working on techniques.
Mboma is amazing. She needs to clean up her form just a little and learn to relax her upper body more. I see her straining hard at the end. Even with that though, she dominates that last 50m. I think she will break flojo's world record. But she needs to stay healthy. And they better leave her alone. She is all female.
If you are a man and you have low testosterone, will you be ok with only using the lady’s room? Or are you still a man. Did you even know that women have testosterone too? Some have higher levels than some men and that doesn’t change their gender. If they give you a shot of 5 times more testosterone than Christine Mboma, will you get off your couch to break world records? Refusing to recognize talent is a gangrene
She is definitely holding back. She don't want to break the world record to soon. She knows all hell will hit the fan soon. Especially before the next Olympics.

@Mickey Smiths I don’t care, I just enjoy the sport. The governing bodies get paid to stress about this stuff. Congrats again to Mboma. God bless you, hope you can continue to enjoy the sport as well.
@Error Report Why are women competing against women, you ask? Seyni, Masilingi, etc. We can scream on the internet all want, but the Athletic governing body would have to prove this advantage you guys speak of before they'd be allowed not to compete.
@Error Report You sure make some solid points. The governing body has tried to be objective by moving these DSD athletes into shorter distances based on evidences they have gathered so far. To make a random ban could be termed discrimination of the female athletes. (There are some currently pending court cases). If you watched the world u20, the Jamaicen winner beat the DSD athlete competing in the 100m, and in the 200m, a 'non-dsd' Nigerian athlete was toe to toe with a DSD athlete until the finishing line. Only Mboma has stood out so far in the DSD group. To be objective, is to have beyond reasonable doubt that there is an advantage. So far, the results of the DSD group aren't in alignment in shorter races, as Mboma is the only one that stands out, so one could argue, it is truly random. On your question about why there are more of them in Women than Men sports, there could be a lot of reasons. One could be most of these DSD athletes are found in Africa. Gender classification is usually Male or Female based on genitals. Since most of these DSD athletes have female genitals, their upbringing and careers would be skewed towards femininity etc.
In her defence she said Omba. What a clown, can't even bother to get a reference of the real pronunciation. It's like I get it, it's a name from another language and that plays a role, but do your job, not everyone has European names, in fact the majority don't

She is awesome🏃🏿♀️
Well said
I'm totally against all this stuff.
Have they determined if he's XY yet?
Absolutely.

@@datraass Where did you get that information?
MBOMA, not MOMBA.
In her defence she said Omba. What a clown, can't even bother to get a reference of the real pronunciation. It's like I get it, it's a name from another language and that plays a role, but do your job, not everyone has European names, in fact the majority don't
