Great voices, extraordinary interpretation, perfect intonation, goes deep to the heart and at the same time very smart. Hoping for more, thanks a lot for sharing!
Unfortunately the crescendo-decrescendo on every note destroys any possibility of a legato line, and this also manifests visually in the swinging postures of the singers. This cresc-decresc habit is one commonly seen in amateur groups, and is exceedingly unmusical. Definitely something worth undoing, because the overall sound quality of the group is quite pleasant.
Good evening from Austria! The fact in "crescendo-descrecendo" comes from the local choral tradition in the Austrian state of Carinthia, and goes against the Anglo-American choral tradition, which thinks and sings in "legato bows". Carinthian choral singing is an intangible UNESCO world cultural heritage. - The Viennese choral tradition with the large number of compositions from the Viennese classics also differs from the Anglo-American one - the doyen of the Viennese choirs, including the "Vienna Boys' Choir", named Hans Gillesberger, was the school's educational figure for many decades. Wow, goosebumps! Very balanced sound, but you can still hear all voices. And can we talk about the warmness in tone of the bass at 0:52

Superschön! 💛💛💛🎶
