It's always such a joy and encouragement (to tidy up my home) to watch your videos each Saturday morning ! One day awhile back I was not feeling very motivated to clean ,even tho I really needed to . So I set your Playlist in my kitchen window and listened to you in multiple videos as I buzzed around the house. It was truly amazing to me how just basically listening to someone else doing mundane household chores , encouraged and motivated me. I was done in no time. I had my husband raise up my washer and dryer off the floor on a diy 6 inch platform. It makes a HUGE difference in ease of loading and uploading. Your hubby is such a great handy man. I'm sure he could design and make for you. Then you could post it and even include the plans and instructions. The store bought stands are awful. Love your videos!❤ so inspiring and really gives me energy to get going. And so Peaceful!!!!

I got my own art studio when we moved into our current home 2+ years ago and love it. You are so right about the joy of a dedicated creative space where you won’t have to clear away art projects while in progress. I remember clearing art from the dining table in order to eat meals! Save those ice trays with lids you were throwing out…they are fabulous for acrylic paints or gouache. Also, definitely worth investing in some portable studio lighting - it makes all the difference! Good luck with the studio build. Looking forward to seeing it. 🎉

Hello Iris! I feel more motivated when it's not overwhelming what I have to do so reducing the physical items helped that part and if I have a day when I feel very unmotivated I look into what I did that week maybe I need to get out of the house resting without guilt is another part to it. I put the bar lower for that time of period start with smaller tasks and I think about how great to have a home to take care how great to have a family to cook for can also help to shift my mind.
