- In this video, we made a highly detailed diorama recreating the legendary Battle of Kadesh, one of the largest chariot battles in history. Watch as we bring this epic clash to life with miniature figures, terrain, and realistic battle formations.
The Battle of Kadesh took place in 1274 BC, between the Egyptian Empire under Pharaoh Ramesses II and the Hittite Empire led by King Muwatalli II. It was a decisive yet inconclusive battle that showcased the power of ancient chariot warfare and led to one of the earliest known peace treaties in history.

Brilliant level of detail..the Egyptian in front of the chariot is about to get flattened tho 😅
Yep, obviously he messed up his positioning for the final scene-wish him luck! 😅
Where are the figures from?

A dead Assyrian warrior? In the Battle of Kadesh, the Egyptians fought the Hittites.👎
This is indeed an adaptation of Assyrian figures, with a mix of stylistic elements in the attire. I couldn't find suitable Hittite warriors, but this doesn't deviate from history, as the Hittites relied heavily on allies and mercenaries in their military campaigns. There were many territories where the Hittites and Assyrians were in a tug-of-war, leading to a blending of cultural styles, which is not a departure from historical accuracy.🙂
