    This video is so informative that I don't even have to go search for an additional one. Very thorough. Thank you. I do have a couple of questions though: So you know how customers like cute, personalized wrapping with a note perhaps...does the print on demand store you use wrap their products according to Etsy customer expectations? Do you still use this print on demand store (printful) and do you recommend it? I'm from the States so a CA based company works great for me.

      @@shimmymorris1 Hey Shimmy I don't know if you would be interested in doing a video about shipping prices from print on demand companies to places outside the USA but I was pretty disgusted with Printify when they didn't show me any indication of printing costs at all and just basically snatched the money out of my account with no confirmation the sale had gone through, no email about the sale and they charged me over three times the cost of the item in shipping to New Zealand. Now not all companies charge insane prices to ship to New Zealand any more. Amazon charged me less than$10 US to ship a CD to New Zealand but Printify charged me about $40US to ship me a bathmat without informing me about shipping costs in ANY way. I'd be interested to know if ArtofWhere or Printful or anywhere else is more reasonable.

    Etsy has a free shipping over a certain total amount setting - that is what causes it to come up in the listing. Not the sale that you created. (the threshold is $30 in the US). It does boost you in SEO.

    Thanks for this video! It is just what I was after. I have a UK Etsy shop that sells Wall Art Prints (UK delivery only at the moment). I was hoping to expand into delivery into the rest of the world, the USA and Canada in particular. After a bit of google research I found 'print on demand' services a good way to do it relatively stress free.
    The one question I still have though after watching your video is are your Printiful (any print on demand service) T-Shirts available for the US market only or do Printiful print for other international countries: Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, wherever? So, would that 'just a test' t-shirt you listed be available for an Australian customer, a US customer, a British customer, for example? Thanks once again. A really thorough video.

    • @shimmymorris1
      @shimmymorris1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They sell in America for sure, I guess it depends on if your store preference is set to the UK or the USA. But there should always be shipping options for international shipping to a lot of countries.

    Hi Shimmy, Helful video. So does Printful workout the delivery cost for each country??
    If so we could pick the most expensive cost, add this onto the price and sate free shipping in Etsy. This way with cover the costs?
    Would want to sell at a loss. Esty fees are around 12% too to keep that in mind when selling.

      @@shimmymorris1 My mistake. 5 % Transaction fee, 4% + £0.20 payment processing fee. Plus automatically included into offsite adds at 15% if sale made through there add (can opp out of this) - But Yeh I can see you have to watch your margins. It's not as straight forward as Shopify to work out costings. I found a page called 'Etsy Calucaltor' that helped set costings.

    Hi Shimmy! I just had a quick question regarding t-shirt colours. I've found that there are limitations to colours for products when using printful as Etsy requires all selected colours are available in all sizes. A message appears saying these varients are discontinued and won't be pushed into your store. I know you can remove the colour or change the sizes but this gives a very limited selection. Is there a way to change this? Also I noticed on printful you can go to store default selling preferences and change selling region. Is yours set to UK or worldwide?

      Secondly, I want to have my items (typography printables) available in multiple sizes. Do you know how I can make multiple options within a listing so the customer can choose and select the desired sized pdf they want?
      I plan on making all my items digital download only without shipping. I prepared a document which is a screenshot tutorial to help my customers select high quality pictures and get the best results. I am curious if there’s somewhere to add this document which people can open? (without a cost). Where would you recommend in Etsy to attach this?
      Also, what is the timeframe for listings when they expire? You mentioned that you have 48 expired listings.
      Thanks a lot!
