Hi.Thank you for your detailed videos! When I first started in August I shipped an order using my own stamps. Because It was a little over $10 it says it requires a tracking number. Since I didn't have one it won't let me complete the order so it keeps saying its overdue. Is there a way to show it as complete so it doesnt look like I never sent it? Thank you!
Ok so my ADHD brain is just trying to make sure it understands. Soo, when we make the shipping free for customers-- I pay for it, correct? Also to add to that if we include the shipping to the item price does it pay the shipping for you or do you still have to come out your wallet to pay the shipping???
So, what she means is: Let's say you're selling a shirt for $15. You've designed the shirt, calculated the cost it takes to make the shirt, and all that, and it came up to $15. That's the price of your shirt: $15. However, you have to pay to ship the shirt, so you either charge shipping in the price: meaning you add the cost of shipping to the $15 product, or you charge $15 + the cost of shipping. So the shirt is $15 + $5 shipping or $20 + free shipping. She expressed in her last video that free shipping on Etsy pushes your item up the search results for customers, so that could be the best reason for the 'Free Shipping' options.
I was confused by Etsy. I had listings for $25 and Etsy took out tax etc AND shipping but I received $17 I took the item to the post office and paid for shipping. I do not k ow how to get the $4 from Etsy to pay for shipping

Print on demand only. So I have been using a production partner to print my products and ship it.
Etsy customer service totally confused me, when keeps telling me that Etsy shipping labels are cheaper and I should purchase them.
I am not making my products, I am doing POD only.
Why would I print my Shipping labels?

Okay I'm set up for free shipping but I've been trying to set it up to where they're getting charge shipping if they're not buying over $35 I'm still trying to figure that out?
You have to just in check free shipping and let Etsy calculate the rates for you hen they will be charged and they will see the shipping rates on their end.

I have a specific question that I have had no luck finding an answer to. Here it is:
I am based in Australia.
I want to service the Australian market using Australian production partners only.
I also want to service the US market, but using US production partners only.
Finally, I want to service the UK market, but using UK production partners only.
This will keep shipping costs and overall costs lower for my potential customers.
Is it possible to setup my Etsy Australian store in such a way ?

Hello, thanks for this video. I want to sell paper products. While setting up my shop. I noticed that the shipping cost for my product was 5.00 . I plan on using rigid mailers. I called USPS and they stated that I could ship out for .. I think 1.60. I’m so confused. If I use Etsy then I’m over charged for shipping . It would cause the customer o4 myself to pay more for shipping than the item.
I have items that combined with shipping total less than $35. I want to do free shipping but it runs the price too high. Can I put in a flat amount of shipping without going through the hassle of measuring, weighing, etc? . Through setting up a shipping profile? Thanks. So confused.

it's great but it's totally different from How etsy looks like outside western countries. it's much harder to handle and you have to do everything yourself Etsy will not do it for you.

I just opened my shop and this video was very helpful however I don’t see the “shipping label option” on end for shipping settings. Would i get that option when i make my first sale?
You can set up ship settings but you print out a label until you get a sale

Thank you!! I have been trying to figure out how to put all the purchase in on envelopes when they purchase multiple items I even tried to get a hold of Etsy and they were no help!! I just shipped 2 different packages to the same person bc of this also what does it mean when they put a reserve on your account thanks again!!
I will have to do more videos on shipping there is so much you in short next time you can just add a label under the same listing if they are going to the same address. And ai don’t know what that means. I have never heard of that. Sorry

I don't believe you are charged if you reprint the label. You are charged twice if you create a new label for the same item. But in that case you do have to click refund and contact customer service
This is a shipping question but not necessarily etsy I have watched all most all your videos. How do you package the $1 water bottles you get from Walmart to ship when it's only 1 or 2 bottles?

I hope you see this because I have one question. After entering everything, when I get to Publish, there is a red message on the top of my screen, says
Incomplete , no zip code,
I wish I could remember the exact words, I have not been able to publish new items in my shops for a month now due to the that no zip code announcement. Etsy does not answer my questions and instead gives a list of tutorials.
I am using the Google phone 3, maybe I should use the computer .......

Sometimes after I click publish it has an error message. I scroll up and recheck everything. But if yours is saying no zip code just double check your shipping info. You must input your zip from where you’re shipping out from. Hope that helps.

What do you think about offering free shipping or discounted shipping? How can I offer free shipping and not lose profit. For example, if someone orders 5 t-shirts, that's over 13 oz and therefore has to be shipped as priority mail instead of first class. That can add up to a lot of money to ship free. How do you set up a profile for this?
I talk about it in other videos. You just up the price of the items to hide the cost

Sis, my question is this: How can I sell a product through Etsy without charging shipping if the customer picks it up from me? Please advise.
You may have to charge them off Etsy. With Etsy you have to ship out I believe. Or you can just click complete and don’t go to the ship page. But I have never done that. Sorry
