I have a couple of questions: 1. Can we customise the dashboards upto css level? Or only use the themes provided? 2. Can we add users silently? Without inviting each by email. 3. How do I add buttons in my app that interact with quicksight dashboards?
@@dhairyadeewan7357 hi, I do have some more details; 1. We can change only those elements that are there in themes. We don’t get complete css control. 2. I believe there is an API to add users. 3. None of the embedded analytics provide actionable buttons
What really sucks with quicksight is the lack of backup features. If you by accident delete your analysis, everything is gone. No Backup feature at all. Further, if you use roles (assume role) to get into the AWS Account, use an subscription, spend literally days in doing great Analysis and Dashboards and THEN someone deletes the role, ALL is gone again. No Backup and no restore features, event not with the enterprise subscription and business support. So, I like Quicksight, but this is a HUGE gap in Quicksight... please implement backup and restore features!

does this compete with PowerBI tool? i find similarities in the dashboard visualization
how do we embed the ad hoc analysis into the website?
does it support real time? can charts update automatically when new data arrives?
