    I am a business analyst for a training team at a tech company so I see a lot of training. This was so impressive and exactly what I needed. Just when I thought I knew everything there was to know about Quicksight, you taught me like 20 additional things! I can't wait to start revamping my dashboards to be more dynamic. Thanks again!

      Hola Jesus. Si tienes dos cuentas diferentes, no creo que exista una solución 'sencilla' para unificar todo en una de las cuentas. Puedes revisar esta documentación, tal vez funcione en tu caso: aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/quicksight-cross-account-template/
      Déjanos saber si esto ayuda a solucionar tu problema. Gracias!

    Very helpful video!! I have 2 questions though.... Is there any way to set dynamic title based on the value filtered by action filter? Also, when we use an action filter for the map, it deactivates unselected locations instead of hiding. Can we show same way when we select one location from the control?

    • @datadoozers296
      @datadoozers296  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Moemi. Those are two very good questions.
      We don't know a way to set up dynamic titles for the visuals targeted in a Filter Action. For dynamic Titles you need to hold the 'dynamic' value in a Parameter, and in this particular scenario the Filter action is triggered from a Dimension instead. Check this video, if you haven't, about Dynamic Titles and Tooltips th-cam.com/video/-N8y_FILR2w/w-d-xo.html and if you come up with a solution then please share. What you could do as a workaround is creating a Word Cloud visual with the Dimensions that you want to control dynamically, and filter that by the Filter Action, sort of like we did in the Vaccination sheet with the Country Name (see more details here: th-cam.com/video/HQerJhN5xcQ/w-d-xo.html)
      Also, we don't think that it is possible to 'highlight' the Dimensions filtered by a Control, unfortunately that's not the way in which regular filters work in Quicksight.
      Thanks for your questions!

    This video is great and very informative! I've used other visualisation tools before but was struggling to find a good tutorial on how to do things in QuickSight. This video explained how to do everything I was struggling to get information on.
    The only improvement I can suggest is the audio. There is a slight high pitched buzz in the background.

    This is a very informative video. I just needed one help. I wanted to know how to automatically change the format of the metric i select when i use the metric to display parameter. For Example if i select a metric which has a percentage format i want the number to display as a percent instead of a whole number like total cases. Is there any way to do that
