normal peoples' smørrebrød is something very different from the leaning tower of onions you had. our pickled herings are not for everyone. I my self prefer the "normal" ones with luncheon meat, and the ones called mellembelagt, or medium covered style, found any where else than the "in spots", but out in the real world among the native danes.. you also have lavt belagt or håndværker style meaning low covered or workman style, which are much cheaper due to the low content of meat. the more or less resemble what normal people eat for lunch, although nicer decorated. try some of those combos, if you revisit denmark.

we have some very good hotdogs in denmark.. also a favorite here!

I don't understand the point of Airbnb. If in on vacation I don't want to clean. I just get a hotel style apartment or studio apartment.

My hubs got banned from airbnb in WA state. The owner claimed he threw a party. He was in town for a funeral for his cousin that died. He had his aunt and uncle over for dinner. That was it. I hate going to air bnb and basically not having a vacation.

God forbid you have to wash the dishes you used.
