Absolutely love these beautiful guitars that I would never get to see or hear without Guitar of the Day, you guys and especially Lemmo are an inspiration. Still learning and tomorrow is my 62nd birthday, thankyou guys.
After a long day of running the rat race there is nothing like chilling out and checking out the guitar of the day. Not only enjoyable and relaxing but educational for any guitar lover. Plus you can always pick up a few tricks from watching Lemmo play. He's amazing! Thank you Mike and Jen for all your hard work in making Guitar of the day happen!
Bought my first new guitar in 1966 and still have it. Watch every day and see the vintage guitars that I dreamed of owning someday. Glad Norm has bought and saved all these great guitars and their history!

That totally rocked! Awesome playing and incredible tone! Would really love to have a guitar like that. I’m out of guitars at the moment but there is a vintage classical guitar I really want at my local pawnshop for $80 out the door. That will give me something to practice on until I can get something better. These awesome videos definitely inspire me to want to continue the quest to become a better guitar player! I remember hearing Joe Walsh (I think it was Joe) tell a story about playing a gig with BB King and they were backstage talking about their guitars and gear. Joe was using 10’s or 12’s at the time and BB was using 8’s. BB said to Joe “Hey man, why you be workin’ so hard.” 😂 (it was pointed out that it was Billy Gibbons not BB which is correct. It easy to visualize him saying that!)

Gotta say, wildwood guitars is freaking amazing. Got a feather weight tele custom through them and they were extremely detailed with everything since I was out of state. I played one of their Gibson USA models and it was great as well. An amazing gem of a dealer.

I know lemmo's a fender guy but his playing translates to the Gibson sound well. He shows a les paul can do more than just play zep (as enjoyable as that is and i know page used fender) A nice les paul.

Michael, purchased Blue Comet and I can’t stop listening to it. I’ve always loved your tone, but Blue Comet is the exact tone that inspires me. Aside from the obvious importance of the guitarist in creating tone, what amplifier would you recommend for an intermediate - at best - guitarist?

Damn, if'n that guitar is just too pretty!! If my bank account wasn't still recovering from the pandemic, that lovely R9 would have a prime spot and alter (with goat's head and candles, black of course) in my studio. As always,... Mr. Lemmo, fine, fine playing young man, and Jenn, fantastic job with the camera and showing the guitar in all it's glory!!
No mention of the actual weight of this "Featherweight" guitar? Interesting. 🤔
I followed this line of gits when they were out, the "target" weight was 8 lbs. Nothing over 8.5, and the lightest was 7.75, all the bodies were solid...no chambering. I bought a 2013 that was 8.2 lbs. The stock pickups are nice, a very underwound winding which trends toward a brighter, airy tone. Wildwood is one of the best dealers in the country and these les pauls were very nice.
Working at a music store is the best. With that being said, I can’t imagine how lemmo feels to work at one of the best around! Beautiful LP

Another great guitar - I think it’d be better with the middle pickup setting out of phase for that Peter Green sound. The light strings prove that tone is in the fingers of the player I think.
Man!!! It hurts to see that, I just traded in a 93' epiphone same color just as pristine and even though it's an epi I regret trading it in after seeing what their worth these days. 😔

Please... When you feature an R-9, Or any Custom shop Gibson, Tell the YEAR ! I've played Many 90's /2K That had ZERO MOJO. The current ones, ( Built under the current, Re structured team) Litterly the Best since the originals. I've owned more than a handful of originals. ( & still own 1) The EASIEST Wood to obtain is the maple tops.. When I was 17, Burst were $1,200. !! & usually I would trade another "Vintage" guitar & $100 or a bit more for one. ( Those days are Long gone ) There used to be "Mom & Pop" Music stores, Everywhere ! & Pawnshops Had no idea the value of "Older" guitars. So I became Obsessed ! & Eventually sold @ Guitar shows, to pay for my habbit I can't help but notice on the current Wildwood "Murphy Aged" The cherry on the back & sides, is Very Dark. I'd rather buy one from Norms. Sorry for the long ass rant !
The Wildwood featherweight les paul line ran from 2011-2015, you can tell from the serial number when he opens the coa that this git is from 2014.
