Maybe I am old or just being sentimental and biased but I am happy to see this one capture what the old Super Sentai toys manages to capture. The nostalgia of seeing each individual Mecha/Megazord standing and looking like they do in the show while being fun to play, pose and mess around with. I was never really a fan of the newer generation Mechs/Megazords Toys since while they look like in the show they look unwieldy or playable.
Feeling the same. This set is pretty good compared to the rest of the modern seasons. I always loved it way more if the engineering part was done right, if there is not much partsforming, and if the individual mecha are good-looking and menacing (these are amazing) as it is the case here. I appreciated if the combinations became relatively sleek humanoid robots at the end and with a good colour pallet... It checks most of the boxes. The Ultrazord (or however the last one is called) looks too busy - but they all are, surprisingly good-looking from the front though... This new trend of being a mecha that becomes only the armour is lame to me. Ladybugs and little spiders are off as well, it is unnecessary to have it. You can't get everything I guess...
This is the first time in quite a while that I've actually considered getting one of these big combiners. I really like the bug motif and all of the little bugs that they have as part of it. I just don't think I've got the room for it.
after the insect army robot, next please make a film that tells the story of a young boy who is always bullied and in the end he designs a large robot that can defeat giant monsters
zamn... i gotta say this went too far, in very remarkable way. for now theres too much smaller parts (which means it will get lost easily) but i think this is only the beginning of new mech styles

I like how none of this, except for big combinations, are bricks. Bandai really did make a huge leap from zenkaiger mecha.
