citroen traction avant 11D engine Restoration / So oldt

A complete engine overhaul of an 11D engine from a citroen traction avant 1954. It is an engine with removable cilinders.

I've done this a few times- my 54 11B had the 11D engine until I put in an ID-19 block with the original head. Did the same thing with my 49 BL, an ID-19 block with the Perfo head. My 37 BL I am keeping the original block and head. I should have it all back together by next spring. Tractions are wonderful cars!

Cool have a friend in southern United States that has one with the same engine looks good but floors are getting soft the rebuild looks very good and sounds great are you helping restoration of the car also

Hello, Greg. It is always nice to get feedback, thanks. I did disassemble the engine from the car and the overhaul of the engine. The body went to a bodyshop. Is'nt it rare to have a traction avant in the US ? Have a nice day. So Oldt.
