Hopefully people will pay attention. If there is raises hopefully it isn’t taken away from us due to increased insurance percentages increases. On top of that hopefully union dues don’t go up.
Union dues are in your local bylaws. Ours are based on 1 hour at step D I believe. So if your pay goes up, so do your union dues.

David Mudd is my business agent, I am a steward . I did receive a link for that zoom meeting, I did not attend but my branch president did confirm that Brian refroe was on the call, and he did say that we are settling the contract before the convention in August and the members will be able to vote on it. He also advised that we would be receiving a substantial bump in pay.
I hope it really is substantial. Fingers crossed.

Backpay is owed, even after you resign. If I mowed your lawn last week, but resigned today, you will still have to pay the bill I sent you for mowing your lawn last week. In other words, I did the job, thus you must pay for the service.
