I am embarrassed to admit it, but I never actually understood how deep these lyrics were until this cover - these are some seriously strong lyrics, changes my view on the original completely
Beautiful version by him he killed it. I lost my best friend in 2020 from mental health.I wanna say to whoever is suffering alone. You matter your worth it and worth love and all great things. Keep going and stay strong. Everyone please hug your friends and family and check in with them. Life is worth living godbless. Sending love and healing to everyone who is suffering alone. ❤️❤️
I gotta admit, even knowing how insanely talented and gifted ronnie is, i honestly didn't see how he could pull this cover off in the style of the previous 2 reimagined songs. But the mad lad did it flawlessly.
Sean Rooney was the man behind this and the 2 previous reimagined songs, Ronnie's vocals are amazing in all 3 songs but he didn't come up with these versions.
@@daltonevans3412 here is the link to Sean's channel www.youtube.com/@SeanRooneyMusic/videos Ronnie even credits him on the previous reimagined songs :)
@@Grimlock1975 cheers, thanks for the info, even though it's quite disappointing, i'd rather know the truth than living in willful ignorance, so thanks.
Have you two never heard his Reimagined versions of I'm Not A Vampire, or The Drug In Me Is You? If you haven't heard the originals, check them out first to truly appreciate the Reimagined versions.
This man comes very close to Chester Bennington. As with Chester, you can feel the pain in his scream. LP should get him and work with him. He sings like an angel and screams like the devil. Just great 🖤🎧 Just like him, you feel the pain because he transports it authentically. Just great, can't get enough. I think he would be a worthy successor to Chester and could revive LP. Nobody can replace Chester, but this man is damn close. He gave me goosebumps like only Chester could. But when he screams like that at the end of the song, Chester was there for a split second and that was just great. A Masterpiece ❤
This version blew me away, I loved it. 🖤 New to your channel, really enjoyed your reaction. I noticed you said you haven't really heard Ronnie sing before. The Drug In Me reimagined was breathtaking, & is just as impressive live. (Not sure if you watched it, sorry! If not, worth the watch). 🤘
There is a youtube video of Ronnie having Jacoby listen to it. It was recorded on Ronnies cell phone, him and a piano. Jacoby loved it. Im figuring out a lot of people didnt pay attention to the lyrics when Papa Roach released it. I remember the first time i heard Papa Roach and heard this song.
I'm 6 months late to make such a request, but if you really want to see a great demonstration of Ronnie radkes vocals, I'd suggest reviewing /reacting to "I'm not a vampire: revamped" because it's GORGEOUS
If your reaction after the sing ended just stopped at "wow" and "damn" nothing else would even need to be spoken. Thats all I've been able to say every one of the couple dozen times I've listened to it today. Mind blown
I am from Australia and in the era of Papa Roach we didn't really hear a lot of US music - mostly Brit or Australian stuff. What surprises me is that you guys haven't made any reference to Ronnie's two other reimagined videos - of his own songs - should I say Falling in Reverse songs. So there are two you need to check out - and it sounds like you haven't listened to some of their more recent music - so Popular Monster, Zombified, Voices in My Head, etc. Lots to catch up to and listen to if you haven't. Popular Monster is a perfect example of how Ronnie can easily transition from rap to rock seamlessly. He has haters apparently although I haven't actually found out why. Falling in Reverse and Ronnie Radke are a great find for me and I absolutely love what they do. Not a fan of what they did 20 years ago or whenever, when they were more just tongue in cheek/Emo. Popular Monster is on rotation in my brain.
I have a feeling that Ronnie connects with this song too.. especially with his mother. .. shes not dead but almost dead to Ronnie and he had that tortured scream around that line of the song 💔😢
My kids(4, ages 16-22), know it. They're jealous that I saw them live. My son, 16, appreciates the cover but won't turn from the original as his favorite. FIR cover is beautiful, makes you pay attention to the lyrics more. So much emotion.🔥
Would depend on when it comes in a set on how well he might sing this. I heard he recorded this in pretty much one take in teh studio. Not sure if that is true, but I heard 25 minutes for it. There is auto tune on it, but it's a great vocal and I can see him doing it justice live.
My daughter and her friends are around 18 and they rock PR, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Guns and so on. Almost all great music gets a rennesance(if that's correctly spelled?)
As many have already said, this is not really a 'new' sound for FIR. I see a couple of double reaction in your future: " The Drug in Me is You (2011) / The Drug in me is REIMAGINED (2018) and then "I am not a Vampire (2011) / I am not a Vampire REVAMPED (2019). Don't wait ... :)

Same!
If you're anything like me, you were just a small kid when this song was huge so it's understandable if that is the case.
Dude, same. Unreal lyrics. Ronnie brought this iconic song to new life.
Same here. This song is way heavier than I've ever realized.
I know the original but didn't know the lyrics, I do prefer this version though unfortunately
The World Is Literally Falling In Reverse. Last few seconds of the video is the world reversing from him blowing it up in Watch The World Burn.
that is precisely what went through my mind as well

I heard he did this in one take 🤔🎶🔥❤Ronnie made us feel the song❤🎶🔥
First time seeing you. Guy on the right got it, his reaction of the video and song was to me genuine and heartfelt. Hugs from Sweden.

My thoughts exactly. This style is absolutely not new for FiR.
Yessss… The drug in me reimagined was beautiful when I first saw it… 🤌🏼
This is "Disturbed - Sound of Silence" quality! Legendary! 💪🔊Music history!

The two versions of this version are anger vs desperation !
Very emotional 🥲 I love both versions 😊
Both? There are at least three versions, Papa Roach has another version they released two years ago. 🤓
@@leetNightshade I said both because they are specifically about the original and Ronnie’s reimagined version , so yes I love both 😁✌️
Papa Roach cover ❤ very kool

At the end of the song, would you describe the buildings as...... (tee hee) ..... Falling in Reverse??? I know. couldn't help it tho
I’m My Darkest Hour by Megadeth would sound awesome reimagined ✋🏽👍🏻
FU!!! I’m 50 and I introduced my now 22 year old daughter to this song 13 years ago. Stop the age shaming!! 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡
