And suddenly i noticed I wasn't alone. I could hear all sorts of things happening above me.
Scared the living crap out of me, but I couldn't exit the building the same way I entered it. So... I needed to confront what ever it was. Turns out just a bunch of raccoons trashing the place *big sigh of relief

It’s crazy what tricks your mind plays on you when you’re in an abandoned building, late at night and you know that you really shouldn’t be there. You hear things that aren’t there and quiet things are amplified tenfold. That’s what makes these videos so bloody good !!

The 'this is a great kirkbride' tag may be a reference to it being a Kirkbride plan asylum. I'd always thought it was one place but it was an architectural format for asylums developed by Dr. Thomas Kirkbride in the 1800's.

Dan is hilariously adorable. In his commentary he has said on multiple occasions that he doesn't scare easily, yet he's always commenting on how freaked out he is all the time.

I totally forgot about the bye bye buggy! They had one of those when I was in childrens hospital in Chicago. We loved going for a ride we got to go out for a ride twice a day weather permitting. Depending on the nurse they would push us around the hospital if the weather was bad. (I spent almost 2 months in the hospital when I was little this was one of the only nice memories)

The area with the curved windows was probably referred to as the day room. The places with the half walls was where the beds were. There was probably one psychiatric aide who was stationed in the office in charge of the whole ward on the evening and night shift, more during the day
