Just happened to stumble upon your channel and am so happy I did. Your video is so informative and I love how you showed examples of the pictures you took. I'm looking into putting together a portfolio and applying to some agencies this summer. I'm so excited to finally be going after my dreams. Even if I don't "make it big" or whatever, I'm just proud to say I at least tried. The whole experience has been fun and exciting as well (:
Capturing the essence of modeling perfection! Your tips and examples are not just about striking a pose; they mirror the profound teachings of my life coach Lisa Haisha. In her recent retreat, she emphasized the art of self-expression and authenticity, much like the power you showcase in your photos. It's incredible how your insights align with her transformative messages. Keep shining and inspiring, Morgan!
Hi I’m about to take some photos to apply for an agency at home do you think it would put the agency off if I have box braids in my hair or should I just be natural for the shots?
hi!! It shouldn't put them off as lots of successful models have box braids! But it may be useful for them to see you with your natural hair too if you have any photos you could attach xx
What skin care products do you use? For anyone else who sees this comment, do you have any recommendations for getting rid of acne and dark spots on light skin (if that's relevant)?
Hello my name is Happy-Kumi and I am currently trying to find an agency but the problem is that I don't have really good lightning in my house and I don't have a garden to so what could I do?
Agencies like to see the model most natural. You can include pictures with your hair straightened to show diversity in hair but be sure to include your natural hair so the client isn’t put off when you pop up with a different hairstyle. xx
I have a really important question. It concerns mostly a friend of mine. She lives in the USA but is from another country. So when the modeling website asks information about 'Country and City', should she put her birthplace or the country in which she currently lives, so that the modeling scouts know that she lives not that far off in case they want to see her in person.
I would like to take it outside like you did with a white background, but I dont have a clothes line. I could purchase a white backdrop but I'm thinking if there are other ways to not spend on it.. idk.
I think you should! There’s different types of modelling you can do such as commercial which doesn’t require you to be tall! I recommend u take new photos like the ones she took in the vid.
Genuine question (yours is the first video I've watched in relating to modelling, I'm new to this but it's something I've wanted to do for a while,) in your opinion do you think larger people (size UK20 in clothes) can be models? I know there's "plus-size" models, but they all still tend to have a somewhat hourglass figure.. I'm more of an apple, but my friends have said that my "lumps" are really smooth, I just need more confidence, and I'm hoping taking more pictures and even getting just one picture up on someone's site would boost my confidence and maybe even lead to a career.. I'm just not sure because, well I'm worried about being laughed at honestly.
Please just go ahead and try! I read a book and it says; don't be a barrier to yourself. What if they're all just happen inside your head? You wouldn't know unless you find out n try
Not if you're not signed yet, if you are a signed model they may give you advice on what to post and what not to but it's not the most important thing :) x
You said that’s better to not wear a lot of makeup, but I have dark spots on my cheeks. Should I wait to make them disappear before applying to an agency ? 🤔
Alot of agencies look for natural features thus it's prefered to wear very minimal makeup , don't worry about ur marks just be confident and take good quality photos (I know many girls in my agency who have got in even though they had several dark spots and even acne in their polaroids)
Yea that’s what I’m wondering, On TikTok they said when you go to the agency you can wear the braids. But take photos with your natural hair too, because they need those.
I film on a Canon G7X, but if you're talking about to shoot the photos on you can always use your phone camera if you don't have access to a digital camera :) x

How did it go
That was great help for my daughter we don't know what we doing wrong she had 2 different agency in 2 years and nothing x
you could do freelance?
Being signed with an agent doesn’t mean work, unfortunately
@@marciavox8105 isn’t that what they’re supposed to do tho?
@@RebeccaReinholdt from what I’ve learned, it means next to nothing. You are subject to the agency’s whims.
@@marciavox8105 that’s Fr sad wth

They're such flattering pictures you're beautiful 🥺

My only issue is finding a photographer
Awesome advice for male models too :)
Thank you 🙏 for this video. Helped me a lot❤

Do you think starting modeling at fourteen is too much to take in ?
dm'ed you 💕
you're so beautiful!!
aw thank you! ❣️
only thing outside i have is my garage it’s white. if not that backdrop can i edit my self onto a white background like on picsart?
hi! that’s a good idea. another idea would be to pin a white bedsheet to a wall !
This is a Great Video. Thank you.
Are headshots submitted to modeling agencies similar to a passport photo? Both are in a white background. Does the pictures need to be digital?
i have natural curly type 4 hair, but rn my hair is straightened shoild i wait til i wash or can i still send them photos with my hair straightened ??
What ever you feel most comfortable

She needs to put where she currently lives, not where she’s from. They won’t ask where you’re from unless they want to know your ethnicity
Thank you so much my babe ❤️
Awesome, thanks 🙏

I have dark circles can I hide it in my polraids or to show...
I sent off pictures and I’m standing in front of a brick wall. Do you think that’ll put agencies off? I’m new to modelling.
no it shouldn't put them off! x
@@MorganFernandez can i take picture in front of my wall?
What camera did you used to take the pictures
if someone has a bunch of piercings would you prefer keeping them out or does it matter ?
hey, do Polaroid’s get updated?
hey! Yes they do regularly :) xx
Very helpful! I don’t exactly have a white backdrop. Do you think it’s still okay to be in front of a light tan wall?
for sure! As long as the photos are clear and well lit :) xx
thank youu!
