Since the Orion camo is supposed to represent the Orion Nebula its going to have all those colors in it. A little depth would be sweet on it, but there is no need to change the colors.
I respect your opinion on Orion but Orion is pretty obviously based on space and the stars and what Orion is meant to look like is a nebula and a nebula is many colors and that’s why Orion is those colors

i had that indefinite loading screen bug and it was super annoying cuz you would set a cammo for a gun and after picking a cammo or even just going into the acammo select screen it would set the game background to a black screen so you couldnt go back into to set a second cammo or recognize what attachments looked like what. it wasnt game breaking im just super stoked they fixed it
After being one of the first few ppl to unlock Orion in the month after mw2 was launched, It doesn't really feel like an "endgame mastery camo" it just feels like a colorful special camo, if that makes sense. IMO Polyatomic still looks better than Orion sadly, and the only redeeming feature Orion has over poly is the fact that it's animated but now that poly is getting animated as well then what's the point of running Orion on my guns, other than just flexing the hours/the grind I went through to get it? it definitely kind of sucks and doesn't feel that rewarding, I wasn't even that satisfied when I got Orion it was just "oh, now I have Orion, well cool."
I think an amazing quality of life update would be: When you are looking to swap weapons, once you unlock mastery camos on a weapon, it will show you a small icon on the corner of the weapon selection displaying the highest level camo you have unlocked on that gun. (example: a small golden square would mean that you have gold unlocked for that gun, but do not have plat for that weapon yet.) I believe this would also help with swapping out guns when you finish a challenge mid game. Rather than the current UI which gives you NO way of determining what mastery camos have been unlocked during a round. If someone knows a better way, please let me know, but as I am grinding platinum challenges and I am roughly 30/51, when I am looking for the next gun I have to do, I have to: -click the loadouts tab at the top -click the loadout that I want to change -click the gun i want to swap out -select a new gun (possibly having to change weapon categories which adds more clicks) -go into the gun smith -click camos -realize that I already did that one. -Back out of the gunsmith -start over at step 4. until I find a gun that I 1) have not done. 2) don't hate so much that I don't want to do it until shipment 24/7 is back. This seems like an unnesicary level of cumbersome.

Once the minimum amount for the weapon category to unlock the platinum challenge, the category name (i.e.: assault rifles) would turn gold. Plat could be a silver colored text, or the background of the selection could have a gradient platinum camo behind it. Or even the text could be animated with a reflection rolling across the letters. Polyatomic could be purple text. And once you unlock the orion camo it could apply a space effect to the backgrounds of the selections. I'm just throwing ideas against the wall man.... Hopefully all of this is addressed in that supposed UI overhaul they talked about just after the game launched. ANYTHING WOULD BE MORE CONVENIENT THAN HOW CUMBERSOME THIS UI IS DAMNIT.

This game needs so much more attention from the studio. I’ve probably encountered 80% of those bugs. Glad they’re fixed but there is still weird things going on in this game like why can’t you use the 45 round mag on the hemlock in DMZ without.300 blackout? Why do i get kicked from dmz games with error message “player kicked”? Why are ppl spam reporting and getting away with it? I got a report notification for my name “TheModdel1887” which is literally the name the game gave me 3 years ago. I wish IW actually cared about the players or if they do, there’s no showing it
I don't think it's that bad... Yes I love the original camo. But this isn't the worse thing... It could be worse. Remember Vanguards diamond? That was BAD. Atleast it's Plaque diamond was good. (In my opinion)
Honestly after taking the time to unlock the orion camo, I've gone back to running one of the solid color camos. Also the Devs need to fix the camos on the 545 because they don't cover the entire gun. The stock and the grip don''t get covered.
The new poly legit just made it budget Orion, it used to have a sheltered glass look, and the black accent added contrast. Now it just looks like someone’s green screened an effect on. Looks like one of those cheap blueprint bundles that no one buys
They need to be more focused on fixing bugs and creating better content instead of paying attention the cosmetics for weapons. They have way bigger issues than this.
Honestly if Obsidian from mw2019 looked like a mix of polyatomic and dark aether, it would've been a sick mastery camo instead of just a matte black color. Looked very basic. Glad polyatomic got buffed. Love the shiny purple it has going on
I think the only way to make these colors interesting to unlock is when they add the Mix option between the colors. Like Ploy with Platinum or Gold with Orion...

Orion would be a way better camo if it was as vibrant and bright as dark matter from bo3. orion literally looks like wrap you would use on a car. The camo only looks good when its in the sun or some sort of light hits it so you're actually able to see it. Personally thats why i use poly the color and consistancy of the look of the camo looks way better so i use that instead of orion and that shouldnt be the case considering poly isn't the mastery camo
how else are they going keep players going if they let the easy progression bugs stand got to have the active users somehow even if the experience is not fun for the player
I absolutely love the new polyatomic camo. In my opinion it is now easily better than orion. I still use orion on some of my guns as a flex but I love the all purple. It reminds me of those solid color camos before they got nerfed.
Polyatomic moving makes Orion less special, and I liked the black accent color before. Something I don't think a LOT of people understand about Orion is its based on space. So taking away color would take away from its look. NASA images look very similar to how Orion is styled.
What about the bug where you equip one perk in a loadout, that perk will overwrite to all classes. Really annoying if you were to put overkill on one class, that means that it changed every class to have overkill and unequip your last setup. Anyone else experienced this bug?
I have a bug where the polyatomic camo and the green solid camo changed colors, the green is yellow now and polyatomic is blue, and so far its just those camos and idk why its happening
they should have already fixed that custom mods which are loaded into an insured slot will load without any previously made weapons tuning. its bothersome af
I don't see them doing diamond... Yes diamond is great but diamond is treyarchs thing... They did it once and got so much backlash for it. (And it was a great diamond camo too sadly) I'm hoping treyarch however adds the Hex Camos back. A step down from diamond but in various different colors like the Solid colors.

Mine was bugged for couple of games, was moving at 10x speed. Looked very cool but too trippy

I got every camo in the game and I absolutely can tell you none of the mastery cammos are worth it.
I love the greens yellows and browns in the Orion camo, reminds me of the purple in the og mw2 fall camo
Did you know you can keep the tracers of a blue print but have it look like a different one by changing the weapon skin?

Polyatomic needs a normal map effect and Orion needs a top coat change. It’s too glossy and it washes out the color
