The snow fell so heavily one could practically hear the flakes thumping on the mountain. I was glad I hadn’t chosen Turtwig as my companion, for the eventual Torterra’s sake, but Infernape was having it hard even being a Fire-Type. I guess I could’ve had Sneasel protect me instead, but the poor little Pokemon was almost fainted. And for who I was facing, I needed every member of my team, whether or not they had much in them left. My gut went cold as I saw him. His eyes were locked on me, and only me, seemingly unaware of anything else around him. He wanted me gone. That was all. I was just a stupid little piece of annoying in the way of his grand scheme. I shivered, and not because of the chill. Chill never bothered me.
This man, if you could call him that, did.
“You imprisoned them. You imprisoned the three beings of spirit and tortured them into doing something against the very purpose of their existence.” I said, drawing on what little resolve I had left.
He shook his head. “You’re a little girl spoiled with such things. Haven’t you been able to see what weakness this brings upon us? Every member of my team, you see how they follow me blindly. You’re smarter than those fools. Why do you think they treat me as their lord?”

I glanced at Wuju. My partner. My first partner of six. We’d taken each other so far, carried each other’s weight. “Wuju, we have a score to settle. One more fight. Can you do this for me? For all of us?”
Wuju nodded. It was...possibly the greatest thing I ever saw. I’d done so much to Wuju, put him through all of this. And he still trusted me. He still cared for me like I cared for him. It’s a bond you can’t break. We both knew we couldn’t screw up.
So we wouldn’t.

Even after playing Pokémon Violet where the climax takes place in Area Zero, Mt. Coronet is still one of the most memorable locations in the mainline games for multiple reasons. Despite Gen 4’s high reliance on HM’s, it’s one of the most complex dungeons to traverse, while you’re making it to the top of Spear Pillar as this music plays. Then finally reaching the highest point of Sinnoh to confront Cyrus, and entering into the Distortion World to stop both worlds from being destroyed was the highlight of the last 3rd version game we got.
It brings tears to the eye to hear the Sinnoh Themes (remixes for this regard) again :')

Arceus isn't even mentioned in any other game than Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, exept in the HeartGold/SoulSilver event, which requires an Arceus from an event in the pre-generation. Seriously, Arceus is the creator of Everything, God of Life and Creation etc. He's like God in our world. Why is he not mentioned more often??? Same thing with Mew: I've heard that Mew created every Pokémon species. Why doesn't that get more attention? :(
Because then it would be boring. Every legendary pokemon from different regions would be destroyed by Arceus who rules all regions and is the god of pokemon.
He's a mythical pokemon, which means he is super duper uber rare, and many people in the games dont even believe he exists. Arceus is the god of pokemon, I doubt he shows himself often.
Hopefully we'll get some expanded lore for him once Game Freak gets around to giving us our Diamond, Pearl, & Platinum remakes.
Probably because of what he is: He's supposed to be god. And that's something controversial to do. In many monotheistic religions it is forbidden to believe in another god or depict something else as a god. The fact that a 10 year old can fight and even catch and command god is a bold move to say the least.
In fact there are already entire countries where Pokémon is banned.
I think Arceus could still be mentioned more often and even have his own event in Pokémon games. They just have to be careful what they portray Arceus as. If Arceus is defined as the creature who created Dialga, Palkia and Giratina to create balance in the universe (nothing more and nothing less) I don't see any problems regarding religious conflicts.

It doesn't usually exist in normal space, just embodying a token physical form when it wants to enter the world that just has to be more powerful than everything else. Arceus becomes Manifest when it puts effort into making a super-capable form to use.
Its ability is Serious Fighter, which doubles its Attack and Special Attack and maybe gives it +3 evasion, or maybe something that shifts its type to one that resists the attack it's about to take just before the attack hits. Maybe it should get priority on everything too. Nothing is too high when the creator wants to discipline some of the residents of its world.

I was stuck on this for a week when I first got diamond version. Game Freak, did you really need to hide a cave entrance on the part of the mountain where everything is obscured by snow?
Freezing on a mountain side and being blind by the snow is totally worth hearing this song. And catching legendary dragons too, I guess. But mostly for the music.
Happy 10th anniversary to this terrific remix! It's one of the most interesting takes on Coronet, and the Dearly Beloved segment almost always brings a smile.

+Delta901 diamond was my most played pokemon game i ever owned. i had nearly 300 hours on it and i got my first shiny on there. it was a shiny female rosellia in the trophy garden. so of course i agree. gen 4 had the best music of its time in my opinion, but hoenn will still always be my home region. xP

who absolutely hated climbing up this mountain? It took me a while, i got lost so many times, and i ended up following a walkthrough because I got lost, haha.
Well, I got an Action Replay device and kept cheating several Arceus without having anything to do with them. So I walked up and down this mountain quite a few times. And the music grew dear to me. :P I never used the Arceus's for anything, but ten year old me was satisfied. Especially when he knew that he wouldn't be able to get Arceus in Germany. :P
i loved it because of how hard it was, it felt so rewarding and epic to hear and see Spear Pillar when you finally made it up.
Nothing wrong with spear pillar, but getting up the mountain is a nightmare.
I ended up climbing Mt..Coronet so much that I eventually memorized the layout of most of the mountain

Answering the comment question! I'm pretty excited to see how the Mega Evolutions work, and as an admitted fanboy for Absol in the first place, I REALLY like Mega Absol. Mega Blaziken also looks pretty boss, despite my inherent disdain for Fire/Fighting-types. However, Mega Kangaskhan kind of irks me, because they just separated the baby from the parent, which is interesting, but if they wanted to do that, they could've just made Kangaskhan's child a pre-evolution, in my opinion.
