After the series with the Yankees they have no games till Saturday when they’re away at the Mariners (who need to pick up home wins) and then to LA and the Dodgers. If the Phils don’t win those series (and they wont playing like this) the Braves and Mets will be a series sweep away from drawing within a game. Do you not understand numbers, momentum in sports or how baseball works?

People saying Holmes had a bad outing didn't watch the game, Torres had the chance to end the game with GIDP, but ended up dropping the ball. He had soft contact the entire inning it was just lucky placement for the Hitters.
His style causes it to happen too often. Hard hit contact along with walking everybody when he’s not right. Unfortunately it looks like we’ll just have to keep excusing these blown saves because the Yankees did nothing to address their issues. Even if not a new closer they at least needed a #2 in the bullpen
