  • Have you tried solo hiking in Switzerland? High up in one of the stunning alpine mountains in Switzerland is the car-free village Stoos. To get up here is already an adventure - you have to ride the world's steepest funicular railway!
The funicular railway is easily reached by public transportation from Zurich, about 1.5hrs away.
From Stoos, I did the ridge trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock for about 4km. The hike was breathtaking, with some small challenges, but nonetheless accessible by the average hiker - as long as you're careful and sure-footed!

In this video, I also mentioned downloading the Swisstopo app:

I just knew about this trail yesterday when I ask my friend picture. Start googled it and here I am after saw your video. I’ll travel solo to Switzerland on July. I hope the weather nice. And yes, I’ll hike alone. The one I scared is the chair lift…I’m not fans of it 😢 thank you for sharing your hike.

Oh wow, those mountains are high! This mountain only goes up to 6,300ft and the elevation not so high (maybe less than a thousand) since it’s a ridge hike. Thank you for watching & supporting the channel!
