Hiking in Stoos, Switzerland | ft. World's Steepest Funicular Railway

- Have you tried solo hiking in Switzerland? High up in one of the stunning alpine mountains in Switzerland is the car-free village Stoos. To get up here is already an adventure - you have to ride the world's steepest funicular railway!
The funicular railway is easily reached by public transportation from Zurich, about 1.5hrs away.
From Stoos, I did the ridge trail from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock for about 4km. The hike was breathtaking, with some small challenges, but nonetheless accessible by the average hiker - as long as you're careful and sure-footed!

Glad you enjoyed it!! Were you inspired to go on a hike too? :)
Easy hike? GIRL… I wanted to DIE I was like screw another hour of this and just walked back down the mtn to stoos… I’m not sure that was the better option though 😂
Beautiful
Thank you!
The views were absolutely spectacular! Thank you for taking me on this hiking journey, I felt like I was there with you except for feeling like I need to breath heavily hehe
Hahaha yea I actually didn’t expect so much stairs in the end🤣 it started out so smoothly lol
I love you love your videos !
Aww, thank you for supporting the channel!
I just knew about this trail yesterday when I ask my friend picture. Start googled it and here I am after saw your video. I’ll travel solo to Switzerland on July. I hope the weather nice. And yes, I’ll hike alone. The one I scared is the chair lift…I’m not fans of it 😢 thank you for sharing your hike.
Oh goodluck!! Don't worry the chairlifts are perfectly safe!
Hi this looks so lovely. Do you know of the chairlift is included in the swiss travel pass?
Hi there! Yes it is 😄
Orada olup dağlarda gezip yürüyüş yapmayı çok isterdim 🙋♂️
That was a great hike. I live in Colorado USA and my mountain is 14,110 ft. Do u know the elevation u hiked at? Overall this was a beautiful vid. Much love from Colorado USA.
Oh wow, those mountains are high! This mountain only goes up to 6,300ft and the elevation not so high (maybe less than a thousand) since it’s a ridge hike. Thank you for watching & supporting the channel!
