- Should celebrities stay out of politics?
The National Asssoication of Broadcasters reckons so - as they've withdrawn their award for Robert de Niro and uninvited him from their award evening after he was filmed protesting outside of the recent Donald Trump trial.
He called the former President a 'clown', a 'dictator' and warned people should speak up now to stop Trump from being reelected.
What do you make of this Nelufar, are you in favour of celebrities getting involved in politics?

I have no issue with Celebs having opinions. Its when they wade in on issues they have no understanding or experience of. Then try and lecture the public on things they have no idea about

Don't forget, celebrities are tax payers and voters, and have the right to speak out as much as you or I. If De Niro was Pro Trump and Gary Iineker was Pro Tory and a supporter of the Far Right, people would probably encourage him. Sad really!

Why should someone be excluded from having and sharing a political opinion because their talent makes them more influential? I think Deniro is more qualified to speak on this stuff that most politicians and commentators. I mean, wtf has Jeremy Vine ever done except talk about what other people do?
