Wrong timing for a kissing scene but the cinematography is BRILLIANT!
P.A. Productions wasn’t a fan with the zooming shots during the dialogue and didn’t really like the cliche ‘rotating expansive shot’ with such a low pay off scene

i came here after watching Aquaman 2, goshh the cinematography is lit! do you see how the explosion when they kissed literally the same beat with the bass? thats insanely done!! wish they should explore more of their relationship in the second film cos their dynamic is what makes the first movie successful

The fact that James Wan puts so many genuine iconics into the movie without forced humor allows him to avoid the normal clichés that we see in modern action flicks. It's like taking a breath of refreshing, yet familiar, air.
There is still a lot of cliches like the man and women kiss at the end of the movie, the hero gains a new ability or weapon and others, but still a good movie for me

0:29 - 0:49 Easily the best visual shot of the movie. Upon seeing this scene in the theaters for first time, my reaction was (and still is) “0__0 Whoa... I haven’t seen this kinda cheese since Pirates 3.” But this is good cheese; Aquaman wore its heart on its sleeve and wasn’t afraid to be genuine.
(Side note: Kinda picturing Hal Jordan and Star Sapphire kissing in space in the middle of a Lantern Corps war)

Rocky Ok, did you want somebody to actually start a war underwater with real life explosions and have both actors hold their breath long enough to do the scene? And while we’re on it, did you want them to tame real seahorses and sharks, or is it ok to bait them into swimming around the way you need them to in the shot. I don’t think they can find a real Mosasauras since they’re all extinct but will a crocodile with prosthetics do??? Of course it’s all CGI, how else are they going to do the damn scene. Just because it’s CG doesn’t mean that it doesn’t look beautiful, because it does. It’s one of the greatest looking shots in the entire movie, and really the entire DCEU. Including the shots in Wonder Woman that we’re not CG and actually practical.

@@vg77574 I said they rushed their model they didn't copy it exactly if you could read. MCU started with iron man solo movie and DC with superman. In their second movies they both expanded their universe with other heroes. MCU with war machine and black widow and DC with Batman and wonder woman. After that the MCU took it slow and made two more solo movies before bringing them all together. DC on the other hand rushed to bring all the heroes together in JL after that and because it was rushed their movie was badly written with characters that arent really developed well and the plot was also stupid which is why it failed. And because it failed, they decided to do the reverse and make solo films like they should've.

just because one person is a bad person outside her Worklife doesn't mean that you cant support the hard work the production team and the director did. Its a great movie

Sky High American beauty is one of my favourite films and I still enjoy it. However, Aquaman came out after her mask came off so that’s why I’m not interested in watching it.

B: Completely took out the making a huge air bubble to talk underwater like in Justice League.
The air bubble was used in the Aquaman film. Maybe Zack Snyder wanted James Wan to make underwater talking work in the Aquaman film. I assume they use air bubbles for privacy, and 2... editing reasons.
