- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new clean with me! A whole house clean with me if you will but in this video I tackled some ares in my house that I typically don't get to! The unseen areas if you will! So I got to cleaning and a little bit of decluttering some closets, linen closets, under the bathroom sinks, the kitchen sink, and beyond! When everything was pretty tidy I did the floors and beyond! Hope you guys enjoyed cleaning with me and hanging out as I kind of view these cleaning videos of mine as a type of motherhood podcast style! Thank you for being a friend!

We are empty nesters with 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren. We enjoy our home being neat and tidy but really love when the whole gang is over for a swim party and there’s noise, toys all over the place and everyone enjoying good food.

Caregiver tasks as a traditional wife and the invisible cleaning! Needed to hear that 14:09 and acknowledge my own acconplishments of running this household! Neeeeded that! The hour by hour outlook is being adopted here on out ty kim I am doing that at work through my chronic illnesses and such! ❤😂
Oh I so so agree! Enjoy the messes, bc you’ll miss them. My baby just turned 26😢 and is a married mama herself! Time flies, even if it seems too much now, you will miss it- enjoy those messes mama!!
Hi Kim, i just did a binge catch up with you and when you were going through your candles it reminded me of something I do. Put one of your candles in your car under a seat or tucked away in the back. As the heat from the sunny outdoors warms up your car the candle will release its fragrance. Depending on the brand you can leave the lid on or off to adjust the intensity of the fragrance.

I heard someone on a podcast say something along the lines of that we shouldn't measure ourselves by how much we accomplish; we're not machines. We can not be 'productive' all the time. That's not what humans are designed for. The only questions that we should ask ourselves at the end of the day that matter (instead of 'what did I accomplish?') are: Did I give joy? Did I feel joy? Did I love?

It was thanks to you that I finally took the leap and got myself a crosswave, and I have also made the mistake of not cleaning it out before putting it away 😝 something that helps is to make a space where you can let the filter air dry when you are done with it because that's the part that holds onto the smell even after cleaning it out. Amazon sells a three-pack of replacement filters so you could rotate them around too. 👍

I'm so glad you do voiceovers instead of just playing music. Because when I'm using the body-doubling method, if I wanted music, I would turn on Spotify. If I want a funny friend and another human I can clean with, I turn on The Wads.

I love my Bissell Crosswave! My whole house is tiled and living with 4 dogs and 5 kids the floors take a beating. I usually have to empty the dirty water tank 5-6 times and fill the water/cleaning solution bottle 4, but after a good 2 hour workout, my floors are clean and shiny!! This was the BEST KIM'S CLEANING SERVICE AT YOUR SERVICE suggestion, and who knew how much joy an appliance could give 😊

Kim I’m telling you, I’m 42 and have 6 kids. My youngest is 10 and my oldest 25. 3 are out of the house and the three younger kids don’t make messes anymore. They don’t really need a lot of help with things now. And I promise you, you miss it. You miss the laundry piles and toys everywhere. You miss the meltdowns and dishes. Having all this time on my hands is boring. Nothing better than having a house full of little ones.

For mosquitos - the only thing that has helped me (they love me unfortunately!) is Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap - I dilute it with water in a spray bottle and spray it on before walking the dog - It is the only thing that works for me. Hope it helps!

Kim! Holy cow you’re ruth-less! I’ve seen many videos of decluttering but I had to hear it again from my best friend across the room to believe it! Love you girly! Aspire to have you’re energy and be as an amazing mom as you! Edit: only the invisible is clean in my house! Don’t look anywhere else! Proceed to my closets as you’re coming in because everything else won’t stay clean.

I’m in the trenches my first is getting her first few teeth she is one now and they are all coming at once , I’m a SAHM and so darn blessed but boy the days are hard but I love the idea taking it hour by hour !!! It’s a great change of mindset ! Great advice I’m bawling because I needed to hear that there are more hard days ahead but she will help one day !

Another perspective I would often do in my mind was think… if I was 70 and had a chance to come back and snuggle my baby one more time in this moment.
It totally calms me and often makes me cry.
Obviously that can be hard to do too when the baby has been fussy for such a long time and you’re just needing a break 😭😭😭

Absolutely!!!! I have a sister in law that will come over and I’ll be talking to her yet her eyes are wandering all over my house. Never compliments either but will buy the same thing. She would be my not so pleasant house guest.

Best thing for mosquitos...full up a spray bottle with water and Peppermint essential oils and spray yourself/kids down. They will stay away from you all day! Works like a charm 😊
I’m a mom of four, due with number 5 in December and my oldest is 6. 😂 I’m still in the thick of it, but my 6 yo is getting big and he is so helpful. He doesn’t cook anything yet but now that you said your 7yo made eggs I might start teaching him more stuff.
Vanilla extract for bug repellent hides the co2 in your blood they are attracted to. I have some 2o spray bottles and put the smallest d top of peppermint and then a few drops vanilla and the rest water. Been doing that lately and it’s been helping
Hi Kim! My family uses Zevo spray on body. It is great for mosquitoes. It is made with natural ingredients.

I live in Florida and I like the badgers mosquito repellent or skim so soft from Avon. It’s the only things that I’ve found works.

Just a suggestion-pull your long couch onto rug about 2 feet-will feel much more conversational and won’t look like the coffee table is floating.
Have you tried Avon Skin So Soft to keep mosquitoes away?
We have a mosquito company come out once or twice a month to spray our yard. It works and keeps the mosquitoes away.
Wentworth and Wolfgang are the same ages as my 2 boys! They remind me of mine so much! Such a fun age gap between them. It’s neat to see how the older brother plays and interacts with the little brother. ❤

I like to remind myself and my kids, during the tough times: it won’t always be like this. My DIL was flustered at Kroger and dropped a gallon of milk. At the crowed check out. She was so overwhelmed and remembering it won’t always be like this helps to push thru it

Great video. My dream kitchen would be light to med stained cabinets. A huge island, double oven counter top stove, fridge with no freezer ( I got a big deep freeze so don't need the freezer in the fridge). Need just a huge fridge. 9 in the family so need the room. Need a huge pantry (prob 3 xs your pantry Kim.) We do tons of canning. One the walls I wanna have a section for all the cast-iron that we have. On another wall I have old like Charle brown cookbooks, stone soup cookbook, disney cookbooks and much more. I'd frame them all. There's alot more I would do to the kitchen. Have a great wkend.
