This is a great tutorial for those without an embossing machine. The technique would also be useful if you were away from home and couldn’t take big tools with you. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Thank you for sharing this. I am educating myself so I can make my first junk journal. I had watched someone do embossing with the machine and, well I can't afford one and now its ok. I can do it your way so much cheaper and doable.

How ingenious and informative. I do have a embossing machine that I use but to know that it’s possible to emboss without one is great to know! I love what you did with the various kinds of paper. Using an old tea bag, toilet paper, and paper towels was amazing!
