I have still not received the bill but I assume it will be about € 420 as usually the cost is about € 140 for every day spent in hospital. If you are unemployed and/or receiving social security payments the social security will cover your payment.
Because having the government run it is extremely efficient and cost effective!!! Let alone I definitely do NOT want the government telling me I am ALLOWED to have a procedure or not!!!!

There are many doctors who've left the medical system, or at least lament about the current situation because it's been so broken by the greed of big pharma, insurance companies and medical conglomerates; all of whom prey on people who are sick and vulnerable in order to line their own pockets. I had to stay in a hospital for 6 days to receive surgery and heal from it, it cost me 60€ in total as a German

It's literally less expensive to fly to other countries and get medical treatment from doctors who are just as competent. How is that a good system? How is artificially limiting the rate at which the healthcare system gets doctors in order to maintain the overall expensive cost of healthcare...a good thing for our country?

As a medical biller - there is not a single carrier I deal with that doesn’t outsource the provider call center off shores. Has gotten worse since lockdown and customer service is a joke. There is not a single carrier that I want/ will personally support. UHC/ optum and regence are hands down the worst!!!!

When we finally get a single payer health care fund, it will be a jobs boom in the health industry. Doctors both hospital and private practice of all types. Tons of Nurses will be needed. Xray tec’s. And all the support staff. People working in billing, etc. Closed Hospitals reopening. New hospitals built. Private practices opening. If we get a handle on healthcare & drug prices, people will be doing medical tourism to the USA. But only if you vote out all these lifer incumbents who have cozied up to industries and made connections with CEOs. They need to be primaried & voted out and we desperately need Campaign Finance Reform to take the excessive money out of the electoral process. All we need is debates from public owned stages in the state capitols, televised on CSPAN and posted to TH-cam & government sites. We don’t need ads, as politicians are not a box of cornflakes. Also half of the Ads are lies, and people vote before it can be dealt with. Ads only hurt the process. So do private events. Look at Trump campaigning even in years when there was no election, strawmanning everyone he even slightly doesn’t like. He can do that because he’s rich. Its an unfair advantage, and its just a bunch of lies & nonsense. If we ban private events and just hold debates, that will be fair to all candidates, and those who would lie have to do it standing next to their opponent who can then rebut.
I worked 30years, and took my insurance into retirement…now after what I thought was great thing to do, is a senior citizen nightmare. I pay so much for coverage, plus half of what is offered doesn’t benefit me as an older adult. My insurance caters to younger adults… they deny me everything that I need, like treatment for autoimmune disorders,Blood cancer, Lupus, Rare Rheumatoid Arthritis, and imaging to see if Doctors suspect that something might be growing inside…They deny… they want you to die before you get treatment….The stress of this increase the chances of not surviving. God help us! That you , Bernie for the fight…. I hope I live to see all of us get Universal Healthcare 💙💙💙Progressive Fed Up!.
