Very clean layout. Really enjoyed the detailed walkthrough. You did a fantastic job. Gave me some good ideas for my enclosed trailer. Really like the white paint on the walls, brightens the whole interior up! Mini dream garage :)
Very nice set-up...... What we are doing in ours is putting the e tracks under the foot pegs and securing the bike that way. No need for straps. Just 2 turn buckles from the pegs to the floor. Wont move or hop in any direction.
Just a thought…Instead of taking the straps from the handlebars to the floor, what if you went to the e-track on the wall? That would pull the bike into the wheel chuck securing it pretty well I would think….? I really like the setup though!!
Have similar setup. For tying bikes. Have another set of tracks near pegs and use e tracks to foot pegs. As I don’t trust the track pulling to much on wall studs
Im sitting here thinkin, "Whats keepin a guy from drilling slots in the wheel chock sides to anchor to the wheel chock and eliminate the need for the e track ring accessories on the front half
Thanks so much for this! I’ve got a smaller trailer and was struggling with figuring out how to secure multiple bikes. I just got the e track system but haven’t installed anything yet. I didn’t know about the wheel chucks for e track. Just ordered some and I’m going to copy your design 😂. Thanks again!!
My truck just needed a fuse to have the trailer light work when it’s not hooked up. It sounds weird but without that fuse it wasn’t charging the battery that’s on the trailer. It was like a $15 part.
Great looking set-up. With your floor mount E-Trak did you screw them into the plywood floor with wood screws or are the bolted in with a backer plate underneath ? Thanks.
Looks real nice but I am not in love with the angle of the strap on the right side of the bike. It isn't applying much forward force to keep it against the chock. Has it been working ok?
I see you have several rock chips at the front of the trailer, and I wanted to ask were those already there when you bought it? I noticed you have mud guards on your truck, as do I and I’m trying to figure out whether my mud guards will protect the trailer from rock chips.
I’ve got E track on the wall with the wheel chocks and run my straps to it. I’ve been running into problems with the screws pulling out, even the ones in the studs. Have you dealt with this?
Thanks Bro, you were my inspiration!! Here is the info on the wheels: th-cam.com/video/Nyii94lbIPs/w-d-xo.html www.trailer-wheels.com/15x5-Black-HWT-HiSpec-Series-09-Trailer-Wheel-5-on-45-Lug-2150-lb-Max-Load_p_1304.html#.YULgTsBOK_Z
Do the epoxy chips come off or feel like they aren’t into the epoxy coat? I just did this, 12 hours later the chips come off. I did an epoxy coat about as thick as I would for paint on a wall. Was it not thick enough? Does it just take more than 12 hours?

Yes! This was a fun project! Thanks for watching
yep EZ Chocks are the way to go !!!
they have now drop plates for little bikes .
its the best system out there nice video thanks
Thanks for the feedback!
just move the front e-track half as close again to the wall and the bikes will stay put without other tiedowns. Nice setup and trailer 🙂
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding job on the video. Impressed with your considerations for the trailer 👍🏼
Thank you!

Very well planned and executed. Highly functional. Great job.
Thanks Brother! Excited to get out there and use it!!
Great Set-up!

I do that with mine but screws have pulled out multiple times.

That's cool, good luck with your build!
Wow! you are a very innovative man! Cool trailer, and I'm really impressed. thanks for sharing it, I'll be using your idea's for my trailer mods.
Very nice!

Interesting 🤔
Hook the bike from the pegs to the wall e trak. That way the suspension isn’t compressed hardly at all.
Yeah that's good idea!
Great job.
Thanks!
Great job!!
👍
Top set up 👌
Thanks bro!
Nice trailer set up, did you noticed any cracking on the epoxy floor when you drilled holes or screw in the bolts for the e tracks?
No I didn’t, epoxy held up just fine. Thanks for watching
Nice trailer
Thanks Brian!
Are you planning a camper conversion later? You got the space and it won’t take spaces from your bikes.
I’m not planning a camper conversion, but it’s nice to know I can if needed.
Great looking set-up. With your floor mount E-Trak did you screw them into the plywood floor with wood screws or are the bolted in with a backer plate underneath ? Thanks.
I just screwed them into the metal cross beams
Where did you purchase the Etrack? I like the black.
Thanks for watching, I got the etrack from this seller on Amazon: amzn.to/40rPbcQ
Looks real nice but I am not in love with the angle of the strap on the right side of the bike. It isn't applying much forward force to keep it against the chock. Has it been working ok?
I've Modified it. I installed a row of e track closer to the wall
@@Myksgarage I suspected you might have done that, good idea.
@@Myksgaragehow close to the wall? Have you found it works better?
Nice set up, bookmarked this to mod my snowmobile trailer. Epoxy floor is great, how is it holding up on the wood?
After a year, it's still perfect. It cleans up very easily!
Great setup! We are looking to do the same and tow it behind our motorhome. Could you have used a 6x12 trailer and still fit the bikes on an angle?
Yes 6x12 would have worked as well
Looks good pal. Luke 9:62
Thank you! Amos 3:7
What did you put on the trailer tongue coating wise to cover the rock chips
It was just a bedliner material like this

@@Myksgarage thanks for the information
Now that it’s been a year…. How has the floor held up? Would you do it again?
Here's my update video: th-cam.com/video/SEI7F1zjpwA/w-d-xo.html
Do you have a link to the craftsman tool box you used? Also, is the countertop plywood under the peel and stick tile?
Yes just a piece of plywood, for the workbench top
Yo! Where did you get the wheel chocks for the ez track system?

@@Myksgarage Thanks so much!

Yeah those were already there
Looks sweet. Good job. Do you have a link for those helmet hooks?
Here's the link to the hooks, amzn.to/3oTVSGW thanks for watching!
Do you have a link for the bed liner coating?
Yes, here is the one I used: amzn.to/42B7vSN
How high off the trailer floor is your bottom e-track with the wheel chocks?
About 14.5” to the middle of the E-track
Looks great man! what floor paint/epoxy did you go with? happy with it?
Here is the link to the rust oleum garage floor Apoxsee kit that I used: amzn.to/3t623Yy
It has held up great, I’m very happy I went this route

I’ve got E track on the wall with the wheel chocks and run my straps to it. I’ve been running into problems with the screws pulling out, even the ones in the studs. Have you dealt with this?

What length of e track did you put in? How far from the wall did you go on the floor?
I did 5' lengths of Etrax on the floor about 7" from the wall
Very nice, man. What’s the cost of what you’ve done to date?
I haven't tracked my cost, everything was very reasonable, as I used off the shelf products and nothing custom
How many full size bikes do you think you could fit in there?
8-10
Did you bolt the tool box down? If not how is it secured ?
Yes it's bolted down to a wooden base I made from 2 x 6 boards
What type of flooring is that? I wanna do the same to my trailer
It's an epoxy, here's a link: amzn.to/3G0k9RA
@@Myksgarage appreciate it bro
How is the workbench mounted/framed on the bottom?
For the tool cabinet I just took 2x6 boards and mounted them on the sides to the bottom of the cabinet in a square.
What product did you use for the floor? How is it holding up?
.
Out of curiosity why would you be hauling 7 bikes? Your friends all drive smart cars? lol. Great setup
I have 5 bikes, and it's possible I could pick up a few more so I might need that capacity
How did you hang the cabinets?
Just screwed them into the wall studs
Noice!!
😀
good content

What is the distance between the E-track, Center to center. Im looking ordering a trailer and looking to trailer two bikes in the center.
I would put the e track as close to the wall as possible
stainless counter up front... where did you get it
It's just plywood covered in vinyl floor tiles
Do the epoxy chips come off or feel like they aren’t into the epoxy coat? I just did this, 12 hours later the chips come off. I did an epoxy coat about as thick as I would for paint on a wall. Was it not thick enough? Does it just take more than 12 hours?
I had a clear coat over the flakes and I've had no problem with them
