    Bought one last week at the Pasadena location while it was on sale. Took it out to the range on Saturday. Woooo baby! It's a nice shooter. Great bargain for the price especially with the discount.

    I found this gun for sale new at $199.00 and after your review I am going to order it tonight. I own a couple of Canik pistols and I like them so I am pretty sure I will like this one also. Turkey has been making some very good guns and the price point is affordable. Thanks for the review.

    6:00 He said that BRG did not start out to make a "copycat..." the BRG IS a copycat; the BRG is a SA XD. One can see that the exterior of the gun is a total clone of a SA XD. And, upon inspection of the interior workings of the gun, they are also a total clone of the SA XD. And, having said that, I have NO problem with that! IT'S ABOUT TIME SOMEONE MADE A SA XD CLONE! Now, if supply on XD pistols goes down, one can get a BRG, or two, or more, that takes XD mags and works basically the same way with ergos and results. The XD is a superlative gun, when it comes to durability, reliability and safety. Although, the XD is not the most accurate pistol, it is extremely accurate out to 15 yards, and, even beyond. Keep in mind, that a handgun's purpose is virtually for only two things: 1. defending yourself from a distance of less than 35 yards, usually, about only about 3 to 7 yards. 2. getting to your long gun. I am definitly getting a BRG, and, the price is MORE than reasonable; it is a steal for what you obtain.

    Here good question Stoeger STR-9 vs BRG9 witch one would you buy keep???

    • @CartersCountry1
      @CartersCountry1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BRG9 personally. But everyone's different. I enjoyed shooting the BRG9 better, it's grip felt better in the hand, shot way smoother and the BRG9 is built like a rock to last.
      Stoeger is a better known and older well trusted brand with probably better warranty and customer service to back it up. But I always tell everyone to hold both and see which feels better in YOUR hand ✋️

      BRG9 Elite is a tank, points naturally and shoots flat. Also Magazines for it are everywhere for cheap money because they completely compatible with the springfield XD9, same holsters also. I own 3 BRG9's, one in each finish. Fantastic weapon hitting way above it's price point. The BRG9 is no "budget gun". What it is is the HS2000 (XD9) of this era, a flat out sleeper of a steal. Get one while you can, hell get 2.

    Why is it that a gun with this kind of quality has such a low price? I hope you can help me on this one. I did used a Beretta years ago, and that thing didn't liked me at all, and It is a expensive gun.
    ¿Do you recomend to use a 124 grain or 115 grain in this gun? Or either one is ok?

    Picked one up recently for around $250. Put 200 rounds through it so far, using 124 gr ammo(150 rounds) everything was perfect, using one box of 115 gr I did have a couple FTEs but that's pretty common for Turkish pistols(which are tested on 124 gr) and usually sorts itself out once it's gotten broken in so I'm not too worried about that.

    Great video. Informational and I like how you were to the point on the main aspects of the firearm vs. run off on a tangent about your opinions. I’ve been thinking about buying one of these, so I’m doing my research as we all do with new models. Definitely don’t want to be stuck with a “Hi Point like” firearm. This one seems legit though. Thanks

      @@adamsabo704 It was from Sportsmans Outdoors on the internet. The free shipping was a nice touch. Most of the FFL's here on the Coast of MS charge over $35 for handling a purchase. One small time pawn shop will do it for $27. The entire deal was $199 for gun, $14 tax, and $27 FFL. I love the pistol. Very accurate and recoil for follow up shots is minimal.

      I think they're different strokes for different folks. They're priced extremely affordably.. compared to other guns in their price range I think they're 10x more solid and durable. they're definitely "new" but so far we've only heard good things and enjoyed trying them out for ourselves. the manufacturers are a metal producing company and really focused on the strength and durability of this gun, like Larry said we really like the weight it has, makes for a smooth shooter, it's not tiny and it doesn't feel cheap like most guns in its price range

  • @thespankdmonkey

    Interesting. I have seen several videos on this pistol. Is this made in the same factory as the Springfield XD?

    • @jakerook6248
      @jakerook6248 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the xd is made in Croatia, these are Turkish made. I own one, when compared to others in it's price range it's amazing. (Taurus, sds, skyye, ect). I'd say it's a little better fit and finish than the XD, eats any brand of ammo that you feed it, and even preferable to Glock for the ergonomics (of equal quality and sexier with the 1911-esque grip feel). It has become my EDC

      @@CartersCountry1 yea I'm probably grabbing one. It's like the impulse buy items at the cashier lane, sometime can't resist. Turkey seems to churn out quality copies of higher end brands like the caniks, sar etc. They start cheap and eventually find their way into their proper market price slots. I bought a few Sar9's when they came out for 250. Now hard to find under 350-400$ and still very nice for that price.

      @@CartersCountry1 also being a police state meaning their police and military are tightly coordinated, any weapon that may find it's way into police hands are spec'd and run through NATO stress tests. I found out my Sar9's run so much smoother with the 124 NATO rounds.
