Great video JB. Have had the Both 360s for 3 months. Debated on them vs much more expensive Asteras. Nothing better in the industry for the value, battery life which is unlike any other light I've seen,, and most importantly the performance. Pair them with uplights etc...and it's off the charts. Soft-carry case makes it super easy to transport...and depending on the venue I usually put 2 on the stands and use the other 2 without stands. Makes for good variation. These are top notch.
One full year of using these...yeah, they're awesome. Versatile, simple, long lasting, and even the internal programs work great. Rick has them locally, or save (sacrificing the stateside support) and buy direct. Either way, solid and I have 3 sets of them at this point. That said? They're NOT wash lights, nor should they be considered them. They will push some light out, but they're an attraction light, not a wash.
@@stanadams5464 If you are setting one as the master and running in 1hr mode you'll get about 6 hours out of it. Definitely enough for a wedding. I don't turn mine on until dancing, which is usually 4 hours for us. I run all lights in 1hr mode. Master drains faster. It's best when you run something like SS, but the remote with internal programs is excellent, too.
I've had the Both tubes for a couple of months. The tubes themselves I give an A+. They are durable and the battery life is crazy good! I can't find a fault. The soft bag is super nice. HOWEVER...the feet kinda suck. They tend to loosen and fall apart. These really need a redesign. The BAD. The stands are so over priced it's ridiculous. They are flimsy and just cheap in every way except for the price of $500 for 4! I felt violated when I received them. You are better off picking up some white On-Stage MS7201QTR and Microphone Stand 5/8"-27 Female to 1/4"-20 Male thread Camera/Tripod Screw Stud Adapters
Great video. I have been considering these but wasn’t sure if I should pull the trigger. But I think it’s time for me to purchase 4 of these in a bundle. I didn’t notice you had a different base connected to your lights at your event. Do you mind sharing the base information? I know it wasn’t the optional flat base stand. It was a legged base. Most of the reviews on the lights I have watched didn’t like the 3 legged stand that came with it. So, I want to look into options. Again, great video and appreciate you sharing your opinion.
@@DJJoeBunn Thanks, I have the Donner ones so I’ll give it go. Where do you like to place the transmitter in/or on your command center for best results?
@@DJJoeBunn Word, thank you! I’m looking to get started with SoundSwitch this month w/ my Command Center, so I appreciate the tips! Do you use the physical control panel with your SS, or control everything from the laptop interface?
everyonne jumping on the both lighting tubes! had mine for ages and they are class, had them about a year
Nice video! I’m also not totally sold on tube style lights in general, but this review got me thinking about ways to use them again!
Space rockets 🚀

couldn't agree more.
Are these in the profile menu for the WOLF MIX DMX lighting Controller?
Great question. I would reach out to Both on that.
The Bunn v Webb beef is officially over 🙌🏼
Never a beef with that dude!
Where you get the table scrim? Thanks you

Long lasting indeed! I got home Saturday night and went to put them on charge for a Sunday event and they were still at 97%!

Good point.
Joe, send a video of your BOTH LIGHTING in action. Mover Spots, Mover Wash, IR4, AND Both Tubes all set up on your sound switch. Thank you
Pretty sure last couple of gig logs had that. We need to get more shots from the crowd towards me.

Going to have to agree with most of this. They are working on better feet, I know that.

Those came from @djdimitrisot on instagram.
how bright are they truly ?
I don't exactly how to answer that, but bright enough to wash the front of the dance floor for sure.
Joe, what DMX transmitter do you use/recommend for SoundSwitch?
I still use the Donner ones from DMX.

@@RyanMitchell412 I have it mounted on the lid in a XLR/DMX adapter that mounts to it.

@@RyanMitchell412 Originally just used the same laptop I DJ with, but recently went to the Control One.
