- We travel in our converted Ford transit campervan, with our dog. In today's video, I offer some tips for staying safe on the road. Although safety is never guaranteed wherever you are, and because I'm not sure it's possible to feel completely fearless, I've put together some tips to help you think through what to do to minimize risks while going on camping and traveling adventures. Our safety camping tips can apply to all sorts of camping; from caravans, tents, RVs - and even camping in your car.

Great advice especially in thinking about the dogs. Always my first concern. There are some places that do feel unusually creepy so agree go with the gut feelings. Thanks for the info. Stay safe.

Great advice. I probably wouldn't go to the same lengths you guys do, at least not in Australia. I can understand the caution given the incident that happened when you were younger though.
Some of the things in this episode are pretty extreme and wouldn’t normally not happen, but it’s better to be prepared than not. My youngest brother was only camping last week when he had a another camper get drunk. Caught in his car and started doing wheelies and putting people in danger and then ran my brother over? My brother is now recovering after going through his front windscreen and has two breaks in one of his legs. I still can’t believe it happened, but I’m just glad that he’s okay. Great tips Dean. Does the Apple tracker have a distance limit? We're looking at the ones you pay a monthly fee for.
The do have a distance limit but if other Apple mobile phones are nearby they will transmit the location
People use them all over the world in their luggage so I think you’ll be definitely be fine. But like with anything different, do some research. Thanks for checking out the episode. Regards Deano
