Sad part is that Nick at Nite now plays the shows WE grew up with.

I imagine had Nick at Nite and TV Land had not decayed, they would still be showing some 80s and early 90s shows, but the difference being that it would be shows that hadn't seen the light of day for years like Head of the Class. TV Land would be showing early 2000s one season wonders/blunders as special programming.

I wouldn't mind a few newer shows as long as they were mixed with older ones. The bliss of the old Nick at Nite was the sheer variety of programming as well as the quality of the shows selected.

We got a How To Be Swell here. Nice! I remember one that had footage with Dick York worried about his lapels being uneven.
    And there's Milkman!

Me too! I was an 80s baby, 90s kid who grew up on these incredible retro shows like The Lucy Show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Get Smart, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and so many more. It helped shape me into becoming a passionate classic television and film fan--most of the media I consume and appreciate comes from decades before I was born. Nick at Nite used to have this old slogan, "preserving our television heritage" and they genuinely did. It didn't even occur to me until most of these old shows were yanked off of cable, that this would affect a lot of people's enjoyment, access to and awareness of older media.

Cutthroat Island-the movie that nearly sank Renny Harlin's career..plus he was married to the film's star Geena Davis at the time
that Lutheran Church PSA sort of looked like it could be a early precursor to the"Foundation For A Better Life" ads of today

ILL, Taxi, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Lucy Show were my all-time favorites they aired. They had an awesome lineup back in the day!

From the Sweet Valley High (TV show) that aired in the mid-nineties, twins Cynthia and Brittany Daniel (5:04) I used to read the books and watch the show...it wasn't very good but...we watched a lot of crappy TV back then

6.9% financing? Wow, most advertise 0% now and I managed to get 2.5% with okay credit. Times have changed.
