  • The 2021 Toyota Camry SE is #1 in its class and is getting a REFRESH this year! It brings new equipment, revised exterior styling, and a new center console on the inside! All this adds up to make this a BETTER Camry than last year, but can it stay on top against the also-refreshed 2021 Honda Accord?? Or against other new rivals like the 2021 Hyundai Sonata or 2021 Kia K5?? I just upgraded to the 2.0 Accord, but honestly I don’t think you could go wrong with either car. They both are very solid family sedan options. You don’t have to pay 50 to 80k to get quality transportation. Great review as always.

The front grill is larger (sorry not in agreement with going in that direction) and the center panel is now a tablet format ( so many cars like that I’m saying deal with it to myself) with the 9 inch looking like the better choice. Sorry but the Push Button start is way over rated..Push Button start allows the continuous radio signals between the fob and steering column to be intercepted by very cheap radio receiver equipment, even when the fob is in the house.
These codes are then programmed into a cheap transmitter and then your car can be stolen... The theft rate of cars with this system is much higher than those with the standard key...And with the standard key there is also a unique immobilizer chip to prevent theft...One cannot just copy the key and start the car...The key must also have the exact immobilizer chip as the original key or the car cannot be started.
In addition the fail rate of push button systems is high, usually within the first 5 yrs and the repair costs are usually North of $1000...
As far as their competition having it standard, the sales gap between the Camry & its Competitors for 2019-2020 was the largest in many years..I'd rather have the Camry's Key system, and their new normally aspirated 2.5 engine and 8 speed automatic over a smaller far less reliable turbocharged engine with a CVT transmission with push button start any day of the week
