Ossum tutorial, esp not wasting a lot of time showing a bunch of fish being caught; showed you working and explaining the different recommended target areas. Everyone knows what it looks like to catch a fish. This tutorial really helped answer a lot of questions that no one else has answered or demonstrated. Thanx Ish!
Wow! That was one of the very best (educational) fishing videos I have ever seen. Loaded with practical info. Haven't seen part 1 but very impressed. Can see why your are a Bassmaster winner. Just subscribed to your channel to stay ahead of my fishing competition. Ha, ha. Take care.
Thanks ish Monroe. I have enjoyed following your learning video. Love what you say about how sometimes a bass won't actually bite the jig they just hold on. That actually happened to me. It's like a 2 pounder loll but still cool. Your a great angler man.
do you still prefer flipping hooks even in open water? The lakes I fish have zero vegetation (AZ desert) Most all our shorelines are rock. Would you use this set up with just a smaller weight, or would you go back to a traditional texas rig with a EWG hook?
I disagree on line cept for where he likes flippin into brush. Mono with drag caught me the largest fish. Plus I find mono easier to set hooks than braid....
pcmcobra all that technical bullshit and no fish..Wtf. I would have caught something on a Spider-Man rod. he got like a $500 setup right there and caught squat

I've seen a lot of punching and flipping videos but NONE as informative as this one. Thank you Ish, for sharing.
I’ve watched this vid about three times and every time I’ve learned something else. Ish is an awesome teacher.

Ish thanks for the tips...All the best to you.
Thanks for all of the advise. On my bayou we have a lot of mats. 👍🏻🎣❤️🚣🏻☝️
Favorite fisherman by far!
COOL THANKS FOR THE INFO ISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice video, thanx for the tips.
Thanks, Ish Monroe. Camp Mack
On what you said about the older mat. Whats the ratio of lakes in different regional area's that it works in?
Thanks Ish, you da man!!!
Damn Ish... You killed it with the lesson. #fishgod
Fish Monroe is the god of flippin
I use 100 lb nanofil for punching mats on my pro channel
great video
What about using side imaging to "see" under the mats? Do you ever try that?
It has been tried smorrow, but there is so much under those mats, you can't see in there. Now, under docks... a different story
Think I'll stick with the Palomar knot :)
Sinker guards the tip of the fishhook

For Texas rigging, I would certainly use a Flippin' Hook around rock, but would use fluorocarbon instead of the braided line.
When Ish mentioned the weight it sounded like he said the brand was "River to Sea" but I googled that and I didn't get anything. Any help here?
Absolutely, it's a River2Sea Trash Bomb... Here's a link to them www.outdoorproshop.com/River2Sea-Trash-Bomb-Tungsten-Weight-p/r2s-tb.htm&click=8130
The Track!

Stren is the best mono.....
cavitation
Nanofil line suck! I lost a lot of fish by using that line... Kept breaking when set the hook
Stren high abrasion mono is the best for fresh water. Anything over 20lbs Cajun line is great.
good info, but no fish...
pcmcobra all that technical bullshit and no fish..Wtf.

jay love he's a bass master champ sometimes they dont bite bro if he didn't catch shit u wouldn't either.
Pimp C fish don't like paycheck cash money bling bling yo yo yo baits
good info on bassin but not a single fish while telling youtubers how to catch emm lol!!!!
+jerritt long That's why they call it "Fishin" and not "Catchin"
Hey Ish I challenge you to a flip and pitch off the guy with either the most fish landed or the most weight wins. on Toledo Bend
