In today's clip, it's Christmas Day at the Royles and Barbara is up to her eyes in it as Jim is out of action due to an unfortunate incident in the supermarket. To make matter's worse, the next door's house has sold. How's Barbara going to mow the lawn when they've taken their mower back?

Brilliant best comedy ever
Comedy my arse! Sorry I could not resist that 😂😊.
Love the Royle family and always will...but...the latter episodes where they dumbed everything down wasn't for me as much. Preferred the original Royle Family that was relatable without being too over the top idiotic. Like Dave for example...completely different personality and character in the later episodes. They turned him into a brain dead idiot lol
Yeah the later ones fell short with forced jokes like the golden egg cup
Thats true. The first episodes and queen of Sheeba, very touching
that's the problem with christmas specials. too much needs to be packed into one episode so it becomes more ridiculous. in a series they can space out the bigger moments and make it all more subtle....im glad they made more episodes but you're right it definitely lost its way
Great comedy
0:28 when are you gonna kiss my bubbles barb.
Jims' big trotter perched up on box of Roses. Classic
RIP Caroline
How’s Barbara gonna mow the lawn or put the shelves up lol hilarious
Is Jim annoyed Barbara 😂😂
This man lives the life I want, stuff working 😂
😢😢
Thay completely ruined this series after series 3 thay made them all really thick it went from funny to just plain stupid such a shame as it was brilliant
Priceless lol
Jim Royle is a legend
Jim for PM..PM my arse😆
Free carrier bags for everyone.
Would vote for him in a heartbeat
"Stick your thumb in one of the sockets and find out." 🤣🤣
thank you BBC :)
Royle Family was terrible after they got the new writer.
Jim chilling with his feet in the tin of roses.
I feel the over acting quality of script writing forced jokes started, With the mambo number 5 wallpapering episode
0:59 there's no pride 🏳️🌈 in sign a nun anymore.
Representation of most council estates in England
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍
Sadly the BBC has stopped doing comedy
GOLD.
BBC.
Love the royal family so funny 😂❤❤
A great show 😂😂😂
I’ve only seen up to series three. I adored The Royle Family so, so much! After seeing the brief segment, I can understand why the show finished. I mean that respectfully. In addition, Caroline Aherne (Denise Royle) passed away back in 2017, sadly, and she was the producer. Brilliant show though. There’s been nothing like it since 💔
1998-2000 was absolute comedy gold!
What would Jim think of 2022? Biggest Recession in Human History now and rising gas and electic prices
Covid my arse
What would he think to see straight white males are almost extinct from TV?
@@joebloggs5679 He might for the first time turn the TV OFF. Its rubbish now anyway lol
Ummm...there was something called The Great Depression from 1929 to 1939. And the longest UK recession occurred during the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-9, and was the deepest one since WWII. But, really, who cares about history?
2022 isn't even in the top ten recessions of the last 100 years.
When did Barb get the lips done? 🧐🤔😂
get that will ya Barb
More adds
Alright JOE
It should’ve stopped after series 3. It became a completely different show.
Yep. Completely agree. Characters personalities changed too much, especially Dave's. They made him some kind of mentally disturbed idiot who didn't know what day it was. He was nothing like that originally.
Why?
@@shaundodd1512 it became more of a traditional sitcom. Obvious jokes. They also made it far fetched and over exaggerated the characters like Dave.
Bollocks. It's entertaining. That's why you're here.
Read up on it
It's so depressing
