And it would be far more convenient to just get an entirely new display assembly. I don't think even MI Service Centers do this kind of job on site.

Never had a smartphone with glass that cracked and scratched as easily as Xiamoi Note 4!!! Lack of updates to the world version phone, poor image stabilization, very weak IR remote control function, poor mic quality unless using the speaker phone, fair speaker quality but nothing impressive, hard to remove battery unlike the Samsung Note4, and a lot more I could think of if I took more time to remember this phone. Never going back to Xiamoi... hyped up phone without really delivering the value due to low-quality replacements rather than excellent prices.

Yes. It depends on the glass. On the glass is a touch film. If this touch film is bad, the sensitivity will be worse.
