Did'nt expect a man like RGV, who is in his 60's to understand a technology that is as advanced and as complicated as AI. He's truly exceptional. For your kind information, there is no relation between learning the technology and age. Age is an easy roite to escape from learning new things.
For thst matter persons who are regarded as fathers of modern AI are alive and atleast in their 70's now.

Already we are trying to get new type music versions from AI.....thank you..
by using AI we can also get screen play for any story plot in different ways and direction styles too. story,screen play,music,locations without green mat, direction etc will get by using AI prompts. who can up skill with AI, movie making will be creative and budget friendly with technology soon
Ramu is the most intelligent and adaptive species of humans known to humanity. His intelligence rivals that of Ray Kurtzwell and the likes.
Coming to the context, What Ramu said in this video is 100% true. Musicians need to adapt AI.
The only space that they could get is Stage performances that would get the raw talent out. So thats the only disagreement with Ramu. People should still learn music, still sing, practice. But be adaptive enough to use AI to their advantage, mostly for creative pursposes, brainstorming ideas, clear musicians' block. I believe that when musicians do this, they would be unrivaled. They'd get money and fame. So Kudos to Ramu, deepest thanks to Swapna for extracting Ramu's Wisdom!

Agree with the point-emotional depth can't be brought about by AI. Emotional depth comes from heart, not from knowledge or data fed to AI models and AI can never replicate the heart
Cinematography, music, editing, writing, screenplay. Production costs and times to go down, ticket rates to go down. More personalised movies to cater to individual , group psyche.
RGV Garu should have given a more technical explanation to this. AI also evolves as you feed more and more data to it. You can feed it with Ragas, Rhythm patterns, Chord progressions, Different Schools/Genres of Music etc. So AR Rahman would be able to extract better music from AI than RGV, simply because he can prompt in a better way. So in future we will have Specialist Prompt Artists for different forms of Art. And there will also be a day where AI is able to self prompt for itself using different permutations and combinations from all the prompts it has memorised and learnt over a period of time.

Music composition is much complex than an ordinary untrained person thinks. I am not talking about some repetitive rhythms. It takes immense knowledge and theory to create any melody which is as complex as maestros like Rahman or Ilayaraja have created. If AI it trained all the ragas, theory and the rules of composition maybe it is possible to produce such complex melodies. But right now its far from creating anything like that. We can't even dream AI could create albums like ROJA, GENTLEMAN, THALAPATHI. As of now no AI is replacing Maestros at-least for a decade hopefully.
