Our dogs always bring back random tennis and chuck it balls while camping. Never seen the other side of how they got there. Hopefully some day another adventure dog will come across it and continue its legacy! 😂

Ramen noodles don't need to cook, especially when it's hot out.Just put water&soak for while.I bought rechargeable fan&made big difference sleeping in pick up in FL
NW Montana was 92 degrees also.When you wake up it's in the 40's and 50's but not for long.

You should go up north to someplace like Washington State where it's HOTTER THAN TEXAS! I live in Texas and it's hotter than Hell here, hard to believe it's even hotter in the Pacific Northwest. Maybe you could go to Nome, Alaska.

Are you able to put a piece of a pool noodle in the gaps from the tent to RU instead of tape? If the material is tight enough it may hold the noodles in place and they are reusable. Just a thought.

I live in my car and this summer is miserable. I love Spring, Fall, and Winter but the summer thing I need to figure out. Here is what I came up with that I want next summer, bluetti 800 watt or more power station, window ac rigged to lay flat with and vent out the window(about 500 watts and they work great), 350 watt foldable solar panel for the quick charging bluetti. This should be around $1,500 and well worth it to not sweat to death every summer. The other battery operated air conditioners I have seen reviews on and do not work well. You should talk one of those companies into sending you one and do a review. I know the window ac will have my car at 50 degrees when it's 100 degrees outside.
Yeah, I fell for the JetBoil advice in your comments. But I have always left the cup attached when lighting it. I just got used to the momentary POOF OF FIRE, and then I just enjoy my coffee. :) Embrace the POOF!
Hello RR, I hope you are well, and I apologise if you have already worked this out....your Jet Boil not firing up...if you look closly when you click the starter, you will see it comes from a wire, if you gently move this wire back and forward from the jet boil, you will see that there is a position where that wire will spark perfectly, I hope this might help you, for boiling water in the most efficient way, I don't think there is anything better than the jet boil, I even cook potatoes on mine by so very carefully lowering the heat to make it simmer, without it making it go out, that takes a little practice, but is so with it, all the very best to you, may Jehovah God bless you, and keep you safe!

I hear ya on the HEAT 🥵. That's why August 2021 when I retired I took about a year prior to pick out a place here in beautiful Montana so I could enjoy the 4 seasons and not have to be in hot 🔥 weather year round. Just could not take it anymore. I love the outdoors and living in Florida for 24 years then Texas for 3 years I'm like no more. Those places you are inside with AC most the time cause you can't stay out for long... also bugs. Yes it snows here but I'm a snow skier so I love it. Keep chasing cool weather if you can. It's got to be harder in a car when it's hot I'm sure. I see some who car camp have those Toyota Prius and can run ac or heat all night.... built-in generator. That would be the way to do it...in a hybrid. Beautiful sunset.💗

Maybe you and Blue can find a campsite at Camp Mazama (6,000 ft elevation), close to the lake/crater, weather there is much cooler (or head back to the coast; day temps are mid-60s to low 70s, nights 50s). Stay cool and safe!

I did some googling to see if I could find a solution to your Jetboil troubles. I ended up reading some manual from Jetboil themselves. I will paste exactly what the manual says.
"Flame should not flash back into burner or lift off of burner top. If flame abnormalities are found, see your dealer or contact Jetboil for service"
"Keep burner at arm’s length, away from face, during ignition. Flame can flare during ignition."
"Gas build-up can occur, resulting in increased flame eruption."
None of this really helps when it comes to keeping to flame from flaring, but I thought it was interesting.

So u just park on camp side, why not to set up camp? Get some wood for camp fire, and then maybe cook some on fire. What do u do all day?

@@laurenvillegas6103 well I am new to this channel, stumble by accident. To me was crazy how u can camp in small car with dog. But in same time it’s cool. It’s just when we go out camping, 2-3 trucks packed, dirt bikes, camping gear, water, we even bring portable shower and a lot water, then we ride all day, and later cook food on fire, and drink some.

From a guy that doesn’t read the directions, do you have the directions for the jet boil? Sometimes if I just can’t get something to work I’m forced to grab the manual and see what it says. Good luck trying to stay cool.

It is my opinion that CREATIVITY, is just another word for UNPREPARED 🤔 PERHAPS one of those little mini coolers 🤔 WALLY WORLD has a large bag of TENNIS BALLS for just for a few dollars. Not good for 🎾, but fine for your 🐕 . They make a handheld battery powered fan that also sprays a fine mist in your face while you are using the fan. Your trip to the lake should help with your dilemma.
