Sorry for the short duration of the video, some clips were lost so it was incomplete but I did the best with what I had. Thank you all and we hope you enjoy it anyway and there is a lot more to come from Boulder City, home of the Hoover Dam but we have much funner things planned LOL
I absolutely love our expedition. It's comfortable, roomy and has plenty of power to get out of somebody's way. Enjoy it. Hope it fits into your family like it did ours.
I'm surprised by the efficiency there! I've heard very mixed reviews on the Expeditions towing,, so that's great. Also, she's adorable! Your guys' little trailer is so cozy feeling!
It actually surprised me a little, I was hoping it would pull as well as our f150 and its actually better! A better ride and quieter than the 5.0 with almost no sway with the rear independent suspension 👍
Hey Jason, Cute video with you 3! Just my two cents on your towing setup. while your trailer hardly squats your expedition, its the sway that concerns me. We have an F-350 SRW Diesel and one of our trailers is a 25ft 5000 pound travel trailer, and we use an anti-sway hitch from E2. We pulled it from Olathe, Ks down to Gulf Shores, Alabama last May, and fought a bad storm on 71Hwy just south of KCMO. We were getting hit broadside by 50+ MPH winds for at least 20 miles, and there was no sway at all. I've pulled that trailer in much less wind and noticed a significant sway before using the Anti-Sway hitch. For ~$500 you can get a hitch from E2 that will provide a lot of benefit, especially if you pull in across KS on I-70 to come home for a vacation. Go Chiefs!!! You would not believe all of the people honking horns, shooting off fireworks, and guns after the kick was good.
Our travel doesn’t sway, we’ve pulled it a few hundred miles already since we’ve had it and it always windy out here. If a trailer is built correctly with weight distribution and it’s loaded right the sway should be minimal and it should snap right back. We have no problem at all in wind👍
So you may have answered this in the past videos, but why did you change the name of your channel from camping with the Kelly’s to uncommon adventures?
