I have a question I have a p42 superliner Amtrak n scale locomotive and it derailed and now it won't run forward or backward and I was wondering if I could have help fixing it or any tips cuz it's one of my favorite and only locomotives

The Canadiana Shark is quite rare. I've been looking for one for years now (though I have taken a break from TYCO collecting) I managed to pull the Northern Pacific Shark from a lot 2 years ago. Do you have the Canadiana 430? Those are a lot more common compared to the Shark.
since i add 3 0z weight to boxcars i add 3oz stick on tire weights to the inside of the engine shells. it makes those engines pull more and stay on track and feel heavier like todays quality engines
My 1st train set was Tyco in 1974. We were A.T. S. F. country so, I had an F9 like your shell and a standard Tyco caboose in their atsf livery. However, in my hometown branch (which was sold to a shortline) we saw only blue and yellow cigar label livery F units. GPs later replaced the F units but still some blue and yellow cigar labels. But, if we were going to Amarillo, from Pampa, TX we would see all kinds of makes (EMD, GE and some ALCOs) and liverys including the attempted SPSF attempted merger.
Sadly or laughably when I was a kid I discovered Athearn and AHM and thought Tyco was for kids. So although I still have a portion of the original set, I'm missing a few pieces including the red, yellow and silver warbonnet. The thing that saved the rest of my original set was the discovery of weathering and kit bashing. I still have a gondola that's nothing more than an extra Tyco gondola plus the original spliced together to make a "who knows" scale length but, it wasn't as long as my Athearn 89ft piggyback (before 10 packs and well cars existed). I think the thing that keeps drawing me to your channel is, you maintain the fun of it all. I like the artistic, scale stuff but many are too serious for me.
SMT may want to wait to make a Lionel video - until he gets the top assembly for the rotating beacon ( and sets one of his dad's 1/48th scale model planes next to it ). SMT can also re-glue the roof back onto the Marx house, & add any other toys to the scene that look close in scale.
I don’t like to criticize and yes here it comes BUT the most important thing you really need to purchase is a microphone. You’re audio really is bad. You have one of my favorite layouts on TH-cam like how you fallow the train around so that it gives a wonderful picture of the entire layout. Thanks for having a great channel

I saw a lot of two of those canada engines in amazing condition at a train show a few months
ago. however i didnt know they were rare.

That third is a GP20M - the Cox version. Walthers revision and still being sold of the Cox GP20M will work if you like to upgrade it.

I think that COX engine is a GP9M or RM one of the two.
The CP rail happens to be either an SD38, an SD39, or an SD40. That, or I'm a neophyte (probably this).
