@@FoxTailWhipz your video worked as a great introduction to my sony a5000. the knowledge i gained from it has drastically improved my digital photography.
Thank you for making this video, really helpful! Unfortunately my sony camera doesnt save the settings when I turn it off. Do you know how I can fix this ? 😊
Can you please help me, I use flash at all times including outdoor. For some reason without flash the pictures come very dull.... I keep the camera on manual, however I struggle with iso indoor vs outdoor. The manual works perfect in daylight but in lowlight conditions I can't find the perfect iso. I want the background to be well lit like the subject and I can't seem to figure which iso is good. Pls help
Very precise description of Camera Settings! You convey details so well. I do have a question...I put 'movie' mode on and the playback doesn't appear on my media card because I did not know to get a special card and put specific settings in place. This was done before I found your utube instructions. I can see and hear the recording on the camera itself but how do I transfer it onto my pc? thanks,
Brother best camera for faimly photography a5100 or a7sii. we need lowlight photography camera..a7sii is good for photography than a5100 best results...your choice camera for you recommend me
Thanks for the video. I have a Sony A6000 - I presume a lot of the settings would apply to my camera? Have you or would you do videos on how to use a vintage/manual lens on the Sony A6000 please. Thank you.
Is there a shortcut menu for this? I see one thumbwheel and shooting manual you'll need some way to adjust iso, f stop and speed. No viewfinder? Ever shoot in bright sun? ACK
Thank you for this. I had a question I was trying to capture photos of my dog and at times it’s hard to get good ones so i’ll just try to snap as many as I can BUT I notice it’ll take forever to shoot it’ll do this thing where on the screen it shows a lot of green cubes and than take the photo almost a whole minute later and by that time my dog moved lol. Is there something I can change for that?
It sounds like your shutter speed is too long. So the exposure is too long which results in blurry images of moving subjects. Decrease the shutterspeed (only use for still images in less light situations).
Hi guys, Ive just picked one of these cameras up the other day, Im a streamer and so ill be using this camera as a facecam, like webcam etc, ill not really be using it for recording videos and so just wondering does the overheating issue only affect the camera when in recording mode, or will it still overheat even when im just using it as my facecam in my streams, any help would be much appreciated:) Thanks
My 5100 was set to Adobe RGB, i couldn't figure out why the pictures were dull and flat, but setting it to sRGB made a huge difference. Thank you!

Why srgb and not Adobe rgb?
The second one have much more colors..or i m a wrong?
You are right Adobe RGB has more colors, however SRGB is much more widely supported and visible on all devices.

If you haven't done so already, just use an HDMI out, dummy NP-FW50 battery and it should be good.
Here comes the 5xxx series
Bang hasil fotoku kok resolusinya rendah bgt ya cuma 500kb. Kenapa ya?
What lens would you recommend to upgrade to for this camera?
It depends on your use. Sel18135 is a nice all around lens if you want some extra zoom.
Cool
❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
