Just returned the hero 13 and ordered the action 5 pro and man let me tell you! Go pro asked to get replaced, who wants to buy the same camera but newer attachments?? In this economy are you serious?! lol
The start of this video shows a clear advantage to the go pro mounting system when mounting to a helmet for POV shooting. The stack height for the DJI is very large vs the low fir the GoPro. A lot of MTB riders mount it under the visor so slim and low is a must.
@@hemanth2596 the problem isn't FoV or movement, it's that either the camera is physically very high above the helmet or hangs in front of the riders eyes if mounted under-visor. DJI needs to trim height off the system.
The GoPro being closer to the center of rotation gives it a clear advantage over the Action 4. Try it again with a neutral torque/rotational device and then see what happens.
The lens of the DJI is closer to the middle which should give it a slight advantage. I heard DJI is more reliable which I definitely believe but they require activation which is ridiculous. GoPro is slightly better in daytime than the current competition but falls way behind at night. The GoPro can look significantly better with manual settings though which is what I do since I personally hate the way it's video looks out of the box. The thing about GoPro that bothers me the most is it's reliability issues. The updates made it much better but it is still a GoPro.

I’m surprised that you would do a stabilization test. I personally would root for the GoPro because it has a better resolution and stabilization. But I don’t think people would be using this camera for stabilization and running your hand back-and-forth for no reason even though the footage does look good

GoPro is better for both the professional, and the "hobbyist" scenarios. The image stabilization is superior when compared to the Action 4. And if you want a footage that's not that smooth you can lower the intensity of the image stabilization. Great devices, both of them. But the GoPro have been doing this longer.
In the extreme mode Action 4 FOV looks so much nicer 😱 would be interesting to see how other stabilization settings perform against each other, Rocksteady+ vs Hypersmooth is ok I suppose, but tbh I always get confused which one to use when
I switched from the hero 12 to the dji. Gopro still sucks. laggy firmware, not responsible touchscreen. Losing files, freezing. No issues with the dji. Who needs 5,3k :) i dont even own a tv with 5k 😂
I need 5.3k. When you use Gyroflow, you lose resolution. Starting from 5.3k instead a 4k it a bombshell. Cropping a 4k video, your result it's not a 4k video (of course, you have it, but upscaled from a smaller video). While starting from a 5.3, you could get a real 4k video.

DJI Action 4 has Horizontal + top setting for stabilization. You didn't use full power of action 4. This test is not accurate. you just want to give credit to GP12? come on man
Цветовую температуру я б рекомендовал выставлять только в проверенных этой температурой условиях. Если же условия незнакомые, то ставить авто. Иначе можно получить неожиданный результат, который на экране гоупро, в виду маленького его размера, будет не виден при съёмке, но станет виден на большом экране. Например, недавно снимал город в солнечный день с 5500К и всё было норм. Но когда в этот же день и с этой же температурой снимал храм, то камень храма начал сильно желтить, в итоге весь кадр оказался жёлтым. На экране гоупро при съёмке этого было не видно, зато когда увидел эти кадры на компе, схватился за голову, чего же я наснимал 😅
I was a gopro fan but after so many problems, so many glitches, overheating, and headache... i have my dji and so far very good!

Tbh the dji just feels perfect in terms of running. It captures a very smooth bobbing motion while not dulling it down completely, like a video game
