Join me as I travel from Johannesburg, South Africa to London, UK on British Airways Premium Economy. Let me know if you think the value is worth the ticket price. To get to O.R. Tambo International Airport, I take the Gautrain, which is South Africa's high-speed commuter train.

Love the video but do not ever give up your preferred seat/area for any couple. They should’ve booked or chose their seats together if they wanted to sit together. They were selfish for that. Or they could’ve gave you the window and they both sat in the aisle.

If I reserved a window seat, I'm sitting in a window seat. They should have paid to sit together!
They were both aisle seats so it was ok. Hopefully they will pay it forward and do the same for someone else in future too🙂

Great video! The only thing I didn’t like was the demanding customer who asked to swap seats so he could sit near his wife. I’ve been in that situation before. You took the time to select your seat, and they didn’t, which suggests they weren’t that concerned initially. As a compromise, I’d politely remind him that I chose this seat for specific reasons that work for me. For example, if it were me, I might say I'm a blogger and wanted to film from the window. However, I’d be willing to let him borrow my seat until 30 minutes before landing, so I can take my photos or do what I need to do. The 'borrow' part would also subtly remind him to choose his seat earlier next time.

Very few airlines that operate premium economy will include lounge access but in most major airports around the world you can buy lounge access, the prices differ on the companies that are operating each lounge, on average each lounge offers you a 2 hour stay, all the food and drink on offer is included in the price.

Thanks Vincent. Flying long distance is really exhausting. You never get a good sleep no matter what class flight you are on.

If the price is double that of Economy, I would be looking to use AVIOS to upgrade to Business/Club World.
