This song is deep in a beautiful way. He’s not the kind of artist who claims to have deep and depressive music at a point where it ruins the vibe. No, Tamino knows how to make people feel emotions without overdoing and this is what I like.
Cigar is the second track from Tamino’s self-titled EP, and the third track from his EP “Habibi”.Tamino went to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam and saw a painting of a skeleton smoking a cigarette: Skull of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette. The image stuck with him, and he wrote a few lines, before coming up with a melody and finally the song. Cigar is not only about the painting, but it was its first inspiration.Tamino about the music video: “I then made a concept for a video about a year ago: I wanted to portray a dead man obtaining the chance to live again one last night. During his time alive he does whatever he pleases, just like when he was among the livings. Never would have thought that we would one day be able to realize the clip. And I’m so proud of my brother Ramy Moharam Fouad who directed it perfectly. And of course immensely grateful to everyone involved.”
The first time I heard habibi, I thought it was the best song in the world, then when I heard indigo night, I realised it was better. Now that I've heard this song, I just don't know anymore.
Habibi and indigo night are the songs that introduce me to his music and immediately fell in love with, but then i listen to the rest of the songd on the full album, and i just can't choose only 3 or 4 as my favorite

I feel like van gogh would've loved tamino's music - and probably this song!! "Sorrow" is the perfect picture to this song, or basically his relationship with Sien in general really
Je découvre TAMINO que ce matin grâce à Couleur 3 lors d'un passage en Suisse mais whaouuuuu cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas pris une claque comme cela....de plus le clip est une pure merveille....Bravo.
A beautiful song & beautiful video, shot in the beautiful city of Antwerp☺🇧🇪 I have lived here for all my life and I have been listening to Tamino for years, but only now when I watched the MV I realized that it is shot in my hometown!! Absolutely amazing :)
Baya iyi bi sanatçı each time la keşfetmiştim başka hoş şarkılarına da denk geldikçe mutlu oluyorum çok başarılı bi sanatçı daha iyi yerlerde görmek dileğiyle 😇
Tamino embodied LOVE, COMPASSION and Genuine Mastery of Art inspired and guided by the HIGHEST Spiritual intelligence. We are in deep GRATITUDE 🙏 for the REVERENCE he expresses in his music.
"Just don't make me right, it's me to decide: this or that side" I heard it wrong for a long time but anyways. This part of the lyrics breaks my heart. Well, only reminds me of how it felt years ago when I was told to choose, more like a suggestion to prepare me. That, broke me. I like to hear it like this: 'they'll make me right, they'll make it right'.
this song makes me feel like a misunderstood villain
lmao YEEEEEEEES
There's a name for that: Hades. And Tamino made a song about Hades & Persephone.
Yes me too it reminds me of an villain character called askaledd in an anime called vinland saga 🤣🤣❤️

You look at me now with that burning cigar hanging out of your mouth
And it seems all a lie, what they've told me so far
Special thanks to... Vincent Van Gogh?
Curious which painting it was

Merci ;)
I feel like van gogh would've loved tamino's music - and probably this song!! "Sorrow" is the perfect picture to this song, or basically his relationship with Sien in general really
This song is BEAUTIFUL
Şurda buluşsak ağlarım bak o yüzden sakın gelme
thank god for NPR
Je découvre TAMINO que ce matin grâce à Couleur 3 lors d'un passage en Suisse mais whaouuuuu cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas pris une claque comme cela....de plus le clip est une pure merveille....Bravo.
Come and listen
A beautiful song & beautiful video, shot in the beautiful city of Antwerp☺🇧🇪 I have lived here for all my life and I have been listening to Tamino for years, but only now when I watched the MV I realized that it is shot in my hometown!! Absolutely amazing :)
A girl I knew today recommended this singer to me, and I think now I know why she kept this singer as a secret..

Ben de ilk Indigo Night ile tanımıştım. Şarkılarında o kadar çok duygu var ki.
Tamino embodied LOVE, COMPASSION and Genuine Mastery of Art inspired and guided by the HIGHEST Spiritual intelligence. We are in deep GRATITUDE 🙏 for the REVERENCE he expresses in his music.
Everything in his art is so profoundly true and absolving

Great singer! Powerful lyrics! Strong atmosphere! ♥♥♥♥♥
why I just discovered you 😭❤ your voice is blessed taamino 🥰
I love this song, keep 'm coming Tamino!
"Just don't make me right, it's me to decide: this or that side"
I heard it wrong for a long time but anyways. This part of the lyrics breaks my heart. Well, only reminds me of how it felt years ago when I was told to choose, more like a suggestion to prepare me. That, broke me. I like to hear it like this: 'they'll make me right, they'll make it right'.
pure art
Jungkookie is life army
